Share your first impressions of A Man Called Ove here

I am listening to this one and started on my morning commute to work today. Man! I was laughing out loud! Ove is hilariously bitter!

Oooo.......I had thought this might be a good one to listen to because I read the first little bit of my friend's book and it seems like it's gonna' be a good, funny one. I'll check on Overdrive.

OVE is pronounced EW-VAH

I just started this tonight and I really enjoy it so far! Ove is indeed hilariously bitter. I can just imagine how fun it would be to listen to this as an audiobook!

The narrator is pretty good. Gotta love when you get a decent narrator!

I'm finding it a bit ... average at the moment. Perhaps it will growing me.

I'm finding Ove to be both hilarious and sad. I'm interested in how this book has become a word-of-mouth bestseller.

At first I found Ove's set ways and old man tendencies funny, then I was sad as I read further. Now I feel hopeful that perhaps someone will give his life some new meaning!

I love Ove! Even after reading just a few chapters I already feel this character is someone I've known for years. His predictable nature, OCD tendencies, and general "that's-how-things-should-be" attitude has me flipping those pages.
