Skye walked into the main area and watched as her slaves were shoved into the room she looked over at them and tilted her head, "Welcome, and make yourself at home." She told them. She moved to sit in front of the door after shifting to her wolf form.Eliot righted himself and looked at Eleda making himself ready to catch her if he needed to.
He didn't need to. She caught her own balance, kicking the door heavily once shoved in. She screamed loudly at the door, as if wishing to pierce eardrums. Then she turned her back to the door. "Keep your distance!" she hissed.
Eliot growled at the people who shoved him inside and looked around like a caged animal like was once again, he knew he was owned now, so, that was different.
Eleda cornered herself, looking at him, as if ready to spring if he tried anything funny. She was out of her comfort zone! She didn't have the comfort or protection of steel bars around her. Not anymore.
Eliot saw Eleda corner herself and moved towards the stairs and sat there, looking around for any instruments he shook his head when he found none, not that he expected to.Skye watched them and sat there.
Eleda glared at them both. The room was cozy, of course, but she stared as if she'd just been betrayed, ripped from her home and thrown into a pit of snakes. Not as if she'd been rescued from a prison.
Eliot sighed and hit the back of his head against the wall before he shifted to his wolf form and made his way over to Eleda meekly, though unless anyone ever saw this they wouldn't call him meek, he whimpered in the back of his throat and rubbed his head against her leg apologetic.
She pulled her leg closer to herself, not touching him, as if any contact would give the master ideas, nasty, perverted ideas. She lowered her head behind her knees, shoulders shaking.
Eliot lowered his head and curled up next to her, he turned and saw that Skye had shut a gate that separated the room they were in from the rest of the place and head upstairs, he looked at Eleda again.
Eleda whined, like she was trying not to cry. She'd never actually been bought before, not in all these years. "Go away," she managed, very upset.
Eliot remained where he was, determined to make her feel better, then he tilted his head and moved to where he was sure she could see him and flopped over, rolling onto his back and wiggled around making himself look as ridiculous as possible.
She stared at him, as if she couldn't believe him. She wasn't a child! He was trying to cheer her up by playing the clown! Eleda sniffed, pulling her shoulders forward, still unhappy.
Eliot stopped and whimpered, then he rolled to his feet and bristled, if she wouldn't cheer up by him acting funny, then maybe he could cheer her up with a fight. It was well worth the attempt. His tail twitched behind him
Eleda turned her face away, cowering. Man... maybe just talking to her would help. Attacking her would probably freak her out more, given the context!
Eliot sight seeing that, that wasn't working either, he went and sat next to her shifting into his human form. "Sorry, never been in a situation like this, I know you probably haven't either. That girl ain't right in the head, she wanted breeders she shoulda just chosen breeders."
The two "El"s were really in an awkward position. "I'm not going to do it!" she insisted, seeming about ready to bawl... but she didn't blame him or push him away.
Eliot nodded, he did want her, but he wanted her to want him too, right now though he wanted to help her out, to be what she needed. He pushed his feelings for her to the back of his mind. "If you want to cry, you can I won't judge you for it." Eliot told her
She immediately burst into sobs. She did not know this man, who was older than her and stronger, and she didn't know what was going to happen to her. She didn't know if he'd force her eventually or a thing of the future...
Eliot hugged her to provide comfort. He knew he wouldn't force her to do anything, and it would be her choice if anything did happen. "I could sing you a song if you'd like." He offered.
She shuddered, not physically able to hold herself back. She embraced him and sobbed. She needed the comfort. She needed someone holding her. She needed to be treated humanely. But... this wasn't human.
He hugged her back, resting his chin on the top of her head letting her cry. Anyone would need a good cry, hell, tears were running down his cheeks, silently.
She eventually pulled herself back, silently composing herself. "I need to get some sleep," she said, looking up at the big bed. The single bed.
"I'm taking the floor, go ahead." He said to her staying where he was letting go of her so she could go to bed, he propped his head up a little, after he moved to lay down.
She shook her head. "It's okay. As long as we put a pillow between us," she said, whispering. She put a pillow dead center, crawling into the far side of the bed. She stripped out of her jeans. Her shirt was comfortable enough, though, and she slid into the bed. "If you touch me," she said, "I will kill you. If I can't kill you, I will slay myself."
Eliot raised a brow but remained where he was. He didn't want to potentially risk his life for a bed. Plus, it wasn't like he hadn't done it before.
She didn't question his choice, but slept on the very edge of the bed, rather fitfully. The girl seemed really, completely exhausted. Who knew how she'd be in the morning.
Eliot shifted and curled up near the bed, feeling Eleda's fingers brush against his fur amidst her fitful sleeping. He remained still as he slept, keeping his senses open for anything, out of their new ordinary.
She rolled over, eventually cuddling close against the pillow, like she wanted to bury her troubles in the cushion. She started crying in her sleep, like she was having a nightmare.
Eliot heard her crying and moved a little, touching his nose to her hand before rubbing his head against it in a comforting manner.
Her hand gently cupped the back of his head, and she slowly began to soothe herself, falling asleep again. Come morning, she seemed more disoriented than scared.
Eliot slept just like that sitting on the ground with his head in her arms, waking up slowly he looked at her then listened to the rest of the area.
Eliot nuzzled his head against her hand again, he'd sensed Skye leaving earlier but had ignored it. He knew he probably shouldn't have, but he'd been distracted.
She petted his head, shuddering. She sort of wanted to change into something comfy... did they have real, normal clothes now?
Eliot sat there, content with helping her calm down, and looked around before he saw a small dresser with a few draws for cloths and touched a paw to her leg and pointed his nose in its direction.
He shifted back, "I can turn around to give you some privacy, I won't look I swear." He told her with a slight smile as he moved to sit facing the room on the other side of the bars, "I don't know about cleaning up though. I didn't see a bathroom."
She nodded. "I can change under the blankets, too," she decided, "It's okay if I don't get to really really clean up," she said, running towards the drawer. There were -gasp!- fleece pajama pants! She snatched them up and then found a soft, cottony shirt, snug and thick, warm.
"Its okay really the fireplace and wall have an interesting design on them." Eliot said honestly, he was facing away from her
She climbed into the bed, changing under the blankets, before climbing out. "Okay," she said, "Your turn, then."
Eliot looked at her, then the bed, then the dresser, "I, won't be able to change under those covers successfully, so, I...have an idea, could you hold the blanket at waist level?" He asked pulling out a pair of sweat pants.
"Okay," he said undressing before pulling the sweat pants on, pulling them up to his waist, looking down at his multitude of scars and shook his head, "I'm done." He told her.
She shook her head, standing there nervously. "I only fight when they make me," she informed him. "It's not fun..."
