Have you started Vicki? I have but needed to put this on hold for a couple of days because I need to finish another book first.

I have finished chapter 10.

It's interesting that the protagonist (view spoiler)[ is from such a religious family. You'd expect that the pastor's family wouldn't get so well along with shifters (at least I assume it's shifters we're dealing with) and well, they indeed don't seem to be getting along very well. (hide spoiler)]

I wonder when Grace (view spoiler)[ will realize that Daniel is a werewolf (at least I'm convinced he is). haven't there been enough clues already? (hide spoiler)]

I'd like to know what happened (view spoiler)[ between Daniel and the Divine family and which of the family members know what happened. Is Grace the only one left in the dark and why? (hide spoiler)]

I like that (view spoiler)[ the family's name is Divine. It gives a new twist for the novels's title as well. (hide spoiler)]

This book is very easy and quick to read. (view spoiler)[ Shifters are usually not my favorite genre but this book is actually good :) (hide spoiler)]

Sorry I didn't see your post. No, I haven't begun it and I'm so behind! But since you are on chapter 10 or more, I'll start it today or tomorrow. I have the book so it'll be no problem.

No worries...I'm also reading several books so I'm not making progress very fast :)

Finished chapter 20.

Finally (view spoiler)[ it was confirmed that we're dealing with werewolves here. It's kind of interesting how this book explains the existence of werewolves with the divine origin stuff. And for a change the werewolves are beasts who can't control themselves when in wolf form instead of transforming into a wolf when a hero is needed. I also like that they are called Urbat instead of werewolves. (hide spoiler)]

I wish (view spoiler)[ Grace would just accept the fact that she loves Daniel and make up her mind about helping him because I want to know what she must do in order to free Daniel of the wolf. I also feel kind of bad about the way she's treating Daniel because technically Daniel has done nothing to her. (hide spoiler)]

I still wonder (view spoiler)[ why everybody else in the family seems to have known about Daniel being an Urbat except for Grace. I'm not sure if Charity knows, though. But she also seems to have no opinion at all when it comes to Daniel, which is weird. I think she should remember a "brother" who lived with the family some years ago. I don't think she was too young to remember. (hide spoiler)]

Still some pages to go but I already know I'm gonna want to continue with the series :)

This book was great until the end and finally all the questions were answered.

Jude's behavior (view spoiler)[ annoyed me at times but I must admit I didn't suspect him being a werewolf, too. That was a surprising twist. I wonder where he took off to and if we'll see him again in the next book. (hide spoiler)]

I also didn't (view spoiler)[ suspect that Grace would be bitten as well. Often when the protagonist is turned into something supernatural I first feel a little disappointed because...well, it just happens so often. However, now it didn't bother me. I'm actually looking forward to seeing how she will handle the wolf inside her and if the wolf will take control over her. (hide spoiler)]

Like I said previously (view spoiler)[ I'm usually not the biggest shifter fan but this book really was a positive surprise. I hope I'll have time to read the 2nd book soon (like in my dreams :D ). But I'll certainly read it someday. (hide spoiler)]
