Yes i love to hear music while writing. It gives a different views and ideas to write. I am a writer at best essay writing service. But during work hours i do not listen to the music.
I have too many. But I do have some. A lot of mystery parts I use Nancy Drew soundtracks. For different places, I use "Jotunheim" by Therion. All my characters remind me of SKILLET music.
My secret writing weapon is Lindsey Stirling music.
I suppose it's not so secret anymore :)

@Laura
Yep. She's got a different song for me to write any different type of scene .
Plus , most of her music doesn't have lyrics , which is good (I've read somewhere that music with lyrics strongly interferes with working...).
My personal favorite song that I use a lot is "The Arena" by Lindsey Stirling .
I'm a violinist and hope maybe one day I can be as good as her :)

There's also a great website/app called 8tracks where you can create soundtracks for all different moods. I personally don't use it, but just wanted to share.

Personally I like it quiet/silent, but I will occasionally listen to some nature sounds like bird song or white noise.
