Memes about books and reading
#1 the pictures are too small. I cannot seem to be able to click on them and make them larger. Love the quote!#3 is too small. I cannot read it.
#4 is just discernable. Funny - he is in color because he is reading a book?
#5 Been there! The only thing worse is when your parrot keeps trying to take bites out of the book because she is bored and you stopped petting her. Even worse with an ereader.
Love #6!!!

"mmm hmmm. The books I read over summer are decidedly more batter than other ones. I also found the chicken eating all the covers on the shelves she could reach too.
My little cockatiel, Peeper, slept in the corner of the top shelf of our book case. He felt it was "his man cave", especially after he decorated by chewing along the spines of the old Encyclopedia Brittanica set that shared the shelf with him. NO messing with him there! It was the only time he would try to bite your fingers off if he was disturbed.
I can't see them either Cherie - is Goodreads having problems with images again? Might be good to enlarge them - by adding width="200" (may need to play with the number) within the img html tag it should enlarge it.
I couldn't see them either.I just copied them to my computer and was able to see a larger image that way.

This popped up on my facebook feed. The hilarious thing is that Lexx screamed this in the car to work the other morning. He was most distressed he wasn't going to have a book with him all day.
Better start carrying a spare book in the glove compartment of the car just in case Lexx is ever bookless again.
Oh we do. And I always have a really small spare in my handbag too. And we have audiobooks on our phone. Not addicted at all.To be fair, the book he was reading did have just under 100 pages of "bonus" material. It was evil.

I particularly like the ones that feature eReaders versus paper books.
