How is reading going?

Since I was reading Made You Up and Soul Eater, I am still kind of behind in This Savage Song but I am enjoying it so far
What are your thoughts on the first Verse?
Do you like the world and the characters?

I think I'm almost caught up now...unfortunately my ebook has no page numbers, so I'm not exactly sure, where I'm at.
But I like it a lot! I like the monsters thing and the divided city and how the different sides are run.
And of course I love Kate. She's awesome.

What I also like is that we already know what everyone wants. It can be tedious to read a book and not know where either of the characters are headed because the author has to make such a mystery of it.

For some reason I don't like Kate. I usually love kick-ass fictional girls like her but for some reason, I feel annoyed by her character. I like August a lot though ❤
The story is good and the monster thing/divided city is really unique. I really like Victoria Schwab's ideas! The story is good, although not too much has happened in verse one (I am done with Verse 2 too xD)
