You could read the Lunar Chronicles by Merissa Meyer. The series is 4 books long and 2 side books. Also, if you like adventure and sci-fi with some drama and romance and battles of war and... well it has a lot going on. Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard is great. Up to now there are two books available for this series... being Red Queen and the other would be Glass Sword. The third book will be coming soon... The King's Cage. Those you would live if you like that kind of thing unless you are looking for a stand alone book. I have a whole bunch of books O could recommend that you would never regret reading. Just let me know.
Fantasy/supernatural : Absolutely Red Queen! Or Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir. Or The Throne of Glass ^^And among adventure ones "These broken stars" surprised me really pleasently :) (just don't look at the cover, or look- and let yourself be surprised by the plot) :)
All those books are amazingly written, and even though they may seem "typical", made me read all night!
The one that seemed to be the one you are talking about Malifecent "These Broken Stars" seems to be in another language. Can you tell me the name of the author so I can find it and read it?
I thought it would be that one but considering you said something about the cover. Seemed like you didn't like it or something lol but, I actually like the cover a lot :D
I'm probably speakning in a weird version of english (using polish sayings and trying to translate them :P) But, as for me, the cover is designed really shoddy and amateurish... (and that's why my friend is still avioding this book)!
Anyway, enjoy your reading :)
I have been reading books like Easy by (Tammara Webber
Knight in shining suit
Fifty shades of gray
Dark prince
No ordinary billionaire
Wait for you
Lol I see Malifecent. Thanks. And yeah Hanna I got a few stand alone books which are good. And one of them has an ending that you will be like "it can't be" lol... Let me make you a list.
1. Hello, Darkness by Sandra Brown - there is romance, mystery and suspense.2. The Betrayal of Natalie Hargrove by Lauren Kate- it's an interesting read and unexpected ending.
3. The Silver Kiss by Annette Curtis Klause - Romance, tragedy and idk lol but it's good.
4. The memoirs of a living Dead Girl by Brenda Bailey - super hot romance with a dark side
5. Don't Breath a Word by Holly Cupala - I read this one like in 2 days and just because I had to put it down to do things. It's deep and gets to you. And there is a very positive lesson to learn from it and shows a different kind of reality.
6. The Time of The Ghost by Diana Wynne Jones - Not sure how you feel about reading a bit complex but it is an intriguing story where you get to a point where you believe you know what is happening but then something else happens and you figure you have no idea at all but are so intrigued and you have to solve this mystery and know. Don't let the cover and the title fool you.
7. The Witch of Blackbird Pond by Elizabeth George Speare - I read this book years back for one of my classes at the university. I thought I was going to hate it even though it has one of those newbery awards but, I actually was surprised how good it was. Idk... you could give it a try.
These are the stand alone books I figure you might enjoy according to what you have said. I am also adding here 3 book series you could look into and absolutely love.
1. Asylum by Madeline Roux - 3 books
2. The Lunar Chronicles by Merissa Meyer - 4 books plus 2 side books
3. House of Night - there are like 12 books lol idk I figured according the books and such you talked about you might really enjoy this series.
All the book series on this list are complete so you won't have to be waiting.

Love Me Never, The Boy Who Sneaks in My Bedroom Window, Rock Chick, and Maybe Someday are also great books.
Incarceron and Sapphique by Catherine Fisher are wonderful! A few others you may like:•The Selection Series by Kiera Cass
•House of the Scorpian by Nancy Farmer
•Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
House Rules-Jodi PicoultIT-Stephen King
Beach Music-Pat Conroy
The Wolf's Hour-Robert McCammon
Heartsick-Chelsea Cain
Coin Locker Babies - Ryu MurakamiThe Boat - Nam Le
And recently I just finished R.J Palacio's Wonder. I quite like it.
A Court of Mist and Fury. A lot of people have probably already read it since it's pretty darn popular but if you haven't read it, READ IT (well read the first one first). ITS SUCH A GOOD BOOK OMG
I would recommend The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. IT IS AMAZING. I can't even put into words how much I love this book, and its Goodreads rating says it all. To sum it up briefly, it follows a 15-year-old boy on his story of how he unwillingly became a legend in his own time, told a few years after all of these events have happened. A-MAZ-ING. But be warned: the 3rd book has yet to come out, almost 4 years after a horrible cliffhanger. So... if you don't want that struggle in your life... maybe wait? Not sure, but if you like bigger books and first-person narration, I'd give this a try!Now for a YA suggestion, if that's more your style: My favorite YA book ever is The False Prince by Jennifer A. Nielsen. It is sooo good! I have to be honest, the 2nd and 3rd don't quite reach the high bar set by the 1st, but if you like witty, smart-ass characters in first-person, a good chuckle, and an amazing story with a twist, this one is a quick read that I truly love! The whole series is worth a read for sure, but this one stood out like a star. It's awesome.
Last-but-not-least, another YA series. Legend by Marie Lu. This is more dystopian, in its own way, though it still takes place in a civilization with cities and slums and all that. But here's the thing: I'm not a fan of dystopian. Yet this book, and the two that follow, are AWESOME. It's narrated by two 15-year-olds, a boy named Day and a girl named June, and follows their individual and strongly contrasting lives and how they happen to meet. It's really cool, with an awesome twist, and it's written kinda like Divergent and The Hunger Games, in the present-1st-person "I say, she says" style. I really liked it, and if that's your kinda book, I think you should give it a try.
Sorry that was so long! Hope you find some of my suggestions helpful :)
Has anyone read another book like Me Before You? Something bittersweet that can hint at romance but doesn't have to necessarily end up there? And something with a good lesson as well.
This is my debut book The Champ And Other Short Stories. Very good book you got to check it out. Highly recommended.Overview: This is a collection of short fiction based upon the everyday life of individuals just like everyone else. These individuals' actions, interactions, their dialogue, and their daily proceedings are viewed through the lense of a bright and glowing hue.

I can recommend any of these.
Hi everyone. If you like romance standalones, then I recommend:1) The Princess by Jude Deveraux.
2) Killjoy by Julie Garwood.
3) The hating game by Sally Thorne
4) The Gold Coin by Andrea Kane
I read these all awhile ago and really liked them so I hope you do too. They all (except #3) have a common theme of romance with a bit of mystery.

Need some book recommendations currently reading salt to the sea so u can get an idea of the type of books I read
Lexi Revellian's Time Rats book #1 called The Trouble with Time is reduced to 0.99 for a week from 5th May - so I'm told. It's a fast moving time travel book.
I certainly recommend it.
I've recently been reading some nonfiction, which I don't normally do, and I'm really enjoying it! Here's a few I'd recommend:Night by Elie Wiesel
Our Socially Awkward Marriage by Tom Peters
