This is going to be an enlightening read. My only thoughts, and there not specific to this book, are that I'm so glad that Emma does interviews with the authors or connects us all in some way. In some way it makes it all more real, devastating, urgent, but also promising, and optimistic?
Cheers

I woud like to thank Emma and the authors for there time and commitment. They are a highlight for me personally.

I am haunted by Sheryl's words on page 24 "When India feels that the West cares as much about slavery as it does about pirated DVDs, it will dispatch people to the borders to stop traffickers.” However, I have hope that all of the reader's Emma and the authors have inspired can not only continue to appreciate our great fortune but raise awareness and begin to make a difference supporting Smart Girls and other organizations as well as raising awareness to others.
To coincide with International Literacy Day, Emma interviewed the authors of Half the Sky for Huffington Post.
