So Many Books So Little Time discussion

What are your thoughts on the book?

Empire Of Storms tore and shredded my heart out. The ending was shear torture. I definitely feel for Rowan and Aelin. When Maeve whiped Aelin and shoved her in the metal box my heart ached for her. Maeve has her leashed like a dog and Aelin... Poor Aelin all she can do is keep her head high and stay strong and not do Maeve bidding. And Rowan... Aelin's mate her Wife!!! I can't believe Maeve tricked him into thinking Lyria was his mate, when his mate is actually Aelin. I had to re-read that section numerous times just to get my head around it. I'm utterly shocked. Lorcan... just when you think he's a half decent person he changes. I can't believe he didn't lft a finger to save Aelin! To save Rowans mate! In my opinion Loracn is self absorbed and selfish and when Elide gave him the cold shoulder pride swelled in me. I'm proud Elide saw through his mask and found out who he really was.

And Aedion. I feel his pain. His cousin, His Queen has been whsiked away and he has to sit through it while Lysandra impersonates Aelin. I understand why Aedion was aggressive towards Lysandra but my heart broke all the same. Poor Lysandra has a lot to do especially with the war looming. I just Hope all works out well and they both can get on equal footing to restore their friendship and mabey even become somehting more.

This book has chewed up my soul and heart and spat it all the way to wendlyn and across the continents of Erilea and splattered in pieces in the heart of Terrasen. I loved this book the dramatic twists and plots had me on edge throughout. I just can't wait for the next book to come out!!

I really loved this book! The threads are woven into a complex and thrilling story.
I want to discuss Aelin's plan for Lysandra:
If Lysandra wears Aelin's skin for the rest of her life, and if Aedion secretly sires the heirs? What will they do about Brannon's power? I know the power can skip a generation, but people expect Aelin of the Wildfire and Rowan Whitethorn's children to have LOTS of power right? And if Lysandra passes on her shape-shifting powers people will start wondering where they got it from?

If Aedion and Lysandra sire the heirs to the throne it will complicate things to much. There children wouldn't pull of as Rowans and Aelins. Firstly because Wouldn't one of Aelin and Rowans kids have ice powers? And Rowans green eyes and his silver hair? I think Rowan will save Aelin before things get to complicated. Oh how I can't wai for the next book to come out. What are your thougts on the next title? I'm thinking somewhere along the lines of Kingdom of Ash or Kingdom of Glory or mabey even kingdom of Dreams.

Yes! Also can we discuss the Dorian and Manon situation? In EoS, Lysandra says that when her clients had lost a lover, they would usually seek outa person the total opposite of the person they lost. Hopefully this isn't true, because the last book is a short time to fall in love, but what if?

I hope this isn't the case as it would be amazing if they were together, but something tells me Dorian is depressed, he sees a beautiful women and wants to take his mind of the one person he truly cared for, so he tries to hook up with someone who's more likely going to skin him alive rather than make out with him.

Oh and what do you think the next ACOTAR is going to be called i'm thinking something like A Court Of Darkness And Deceit. ACOTAR is based on the spring court, ACOMAF is based on the night court I'm thinking the last one will be based on Hybern.

Actually I ship whatever SJM puts into the books, except for Dorian and Sorscha. Sorscha is sweet, but I just don't think they're meant for each other.

Well, Im pretty sure that in the 3rd book Elain and Lucien, Nesta and Cassian, and Azriel and Mor will start on their path to true love! (Or once Nesta and Cassian stop spouting insults at each other.)

Oh me too!! It broke my heart, no infact it shredded my heart to hear what happened to Asterin. OH how I feel for her. When I read that part I started balling my eyes out poor Asterin and her sweet, loyal hunter.

@Clare; It took me a whole week to gather my thoughts and write a review. I re-read the last part at least 05 times because I just couldn't believe it.

Oh my!! I think Asterin and Fenrys would be perfect for eachother, I honestly hadn't even thought of them being together... now I hope it does happen
