"This is the tale of Vaas's pirate hordes, who came to the island to rape, pillage and steal. They wanted one thing, they wanted money and it would be theirs, no matter the cost. Vaas holds court, the jester of rook island, but is your machete what lies in store?"

They are led by the mentally unstable and psychotic Vaas Montenegro. Fuelled by the lust for money, they came to Cinerie Bordana mostly to pillage.

Most of the faction's members, if not all, are drug fiends. They buy a good portion of the island's drugs, and I'll tell 'ya- whoever's gettin' that money must be a billionaire from them alone.

Almost everyone on the island hates them, and people have every right to do so. They have killed innocent villagers multiple times before, taking away loved ones from others. They are probably number one on the "to kill" list for the other islanders.

Most of Vaas's soldiers are supplied with AK-47s, but some use shotguns and handguns. They dress rather casually as well, almost like any daily civilian but with more tattered clothes, and alot of them wearing masks. They definitely aren't bullet-proof, that's for sure. Luck is all they have on their side, really. With everyone wantin' to kill 'em.
