Marlene stalked swiftly through the dense undergrowth, making little sound. She wasn't quite sure why she came here... it seemed dangerous, and dangerous places is where the adventure was.
Marlene stopped in her tracks as she noticed footprints on the ground, and they weren't her's. She frowned, and bent down to examine them. The prints were recent... that meant someone was nearby. She quickly stood and made her way to a nearby tree. Mar climbed until she was just within view of the fresh trail, then she drew her sword and waited for the stranger.
((Awww. :( Ok. Bye...))Marlene watched the figure run, then jumped in front of her just as she reached the end of the jungle... realizing the other person was holding a crossbow Mar immediately dropped into a defensive crouch, holding her sword in front of her.
Marlene's eyes narrowed, "This is not a joke. I may or may not kill you. And why on Earth would I not want to continue? It is not your place to tell me what to do or where to go." She held her sword ready, eyeing the crossbow.
Mar raised an eyebrow, "Pirate base huh?," She smirked, "Peace is not an option. And I don't think you were just passing by." She took a silent step foreword, "This sword is far from flimsy," Marlene tilted her head to the side, "Who are you? What faction do you belong to?"
Marlene's head tilted to the side, "What do you mean you aren't in a faction? Of course I am!," She thought for a moment, "You don't have to tell me your name if you really don't want to," she shrugged, "I wouldn't mind."
Marlene nodded, "I agree, and understand... but not about the factions," she shrugged, "People have their own opinions. You may call me Mar." She looked at the crossbow pointedly, "I'll put my weapon away if you put away yours."
Marlene grunted, "I've never seen that happen," She sheathed her sword and rested her hands on her hips, "If I may ask, what were you doing in Pirate territory? They aren't the friendliest. Ha!"
Mar nodded her sympathy, "They are lying bastards. They probably don't know up from down. If only some of the Factions teamed up, they could beat them and show those Pirates what its like to be on our end of the sword," She barked a laugh, "Its not like any of the Factions would be willing to do it..."
Mar nodded, "Mostly the Factions prefer to keep to themselves, I've noticed, but sometimes skirmishes are unavoidable." She sat with her back against a tree, facing Iss, "Where did you get the name Iss?"
Mar frowned, "Terribly sorry, Iggy. I meant AM, I am part of a faction. I serve with the Daemon." She watched Iggy carefully, "Were you ever a part of a faction, Iggy?"
"Whats it like, not having a faction? If you serve no faction, what do you do?" Marlene asked, curious.
Mar stood quickly, "Where are you off to? Would you like me to come?"((Its ok if you don't! I totally understand!!))
