Mark, I'm pretty sure you have no concept of real life. You've never had a girlfriend, so how can you have dating advice? And I know that's what I would do if I HAD to kiss a guy (not blushing, smiling, or laughing). And I don't have to worry about my rep, I'm already known as weird, nerdy, optimistic, and inSANE. How many people do you know that dressed up as "Hannah Mock-tana" for Halloween, complete with a messy wig, ugly sparkly clothing, and horrible accessories? Anyways, the point to my long rant (yes, I have one) is that reps do matter, and yes, there is drama, which is what Serena is trying to avoid when she has to kiss that guy for a bet.
