Obsessed With YA & NA discussion

What are you guys thinking now so far?

Many agree that there needs to be more character development as well as world development... What are your thoughts?

May 19th: Chapters 16-20 (up to page 186 for hardcover)
May 20th: Chapters 21-25 (up to page 246 for hardcover)
May 21st: Chapters 26-30 (up to page 302 for hardcover)
May 22nd: Chapters 31-35 (up to page 358 for hardcover)
May 23rd: Chapters 36-end

yeah def. But Im really liking it so far. And its starting to pick up a bit. I cant wait to see what happens and how the plot is going to turn out

I am totally curious about Cinder and her immunity. It is rather interesting. As for world building and character development you should both check out the prequel:


It gives some background info on Cinder, Adri, Iko and the girls. I read it prior to starting and it's helping me understand a bit better, especially since I knew about the family and Adri dislike towards Iko and Cinder.

Overall, it's a great start!

Also finding out how much of a human Cinder is was extremely cool! And what is that green chip. Exactly what did they do to her during her surgery after the accident and was Garren, Adri's husband, in on it?! So many thoughts and questions.

I didn't know there was a prequel, I will def check it out.

Yes there is! Check out, its about 32 pages long, but it will help a bit more with the understanding Iko, Adri and Cinder.

I'm gonna try and read it today if not tomorrow!!! :D

Just finished reading the 10th chapter, I'm really liking it so far. I wish that they would have talked a little bit more about Peony before she caught the infection. But I guess it's just the beginning if the book so there's still a lot in there.

By the end of chapter 10 I was beginning to really love this story and really coming to love Cinder as a character. Excited to find out more!
