yay chobits! totally checked it out from the library, so everyone will hear how it compares to the anime. lol.
i must say i'm half-way through the series and it's just as good as the anime, if not better. in my opinion, it's classic clamp. it just has a feel of not being an ordinary manga.
i really wish they had book 8 at the library last sunday! read through 7 today, so good! want more! haha, that's totally like me, always getting addicted to stuff.
i think it's just checked out. but yeah, i totally hate that too. it's even worse when they don't have all of the books in a series in a row. like, they'll have #1,2,8,9,and 10. totally lame.
totally added book 8! yay! the books were really good. it followed very close to the anime, or the anime followed the manga very closely. it depends on how you want to look at it. but yeah, love happy endings.
yep. though i think that clamp could have pulled off an interesting tear-jerking unhappy ending too. the story was set-up to where either way, it was believable.
most definitely! though sometimes i just get in those moods where i'm looking for a slightly unhappy ending. you know, something a little unexpected.
what i get most tired of is reading about characters that face no consequence for anything they do. i can read those stories, but once i get sick of it, it takes a long time for me to be able to tolerate it again. i don't mind stories being unrealistic if the author built it in the correct way. it has to seem realistic within that story, you know. if it's unrealistic even for the story, then it's a lame ending.
