Delirity discussion

I was so excited for this book to come out and then it does the same week my grandparents are evacuated from their home because of fires. This is going to be hard to read for me since I HATE fires. It's the reason I moved away from a perfectly good home in California. If it were anyone other than M.L. Buchman I'd ignore the book, but I can't bypass one of his stories. I'm going to have to suck it up and get through the book. Once I'm done I'm sure I'll be happy.

I did read the first one this week and didn't think it was that great.

I think that I would have liked this one better had it not been so technical in the flying and fire stuff and had I liked either of the main couple. I never really did warm up to them, so when they got their HEA, I was meh...

What I did like was Mark and Emily learning to live as civilians and getting to know the fire people. I also loved how the fire people were introduced to their world, it made for some fun reactions.

I especially loved how at the end they used the fire to help them do what was needed.

I'm about 60% in. Between Emily getting a modified Blackhawk and those black boxes, i assume something interesting will happen. I stopped right before it going since I have to sleep tonight. Darcy, I get what you said about the jargon, etc., although it has helped me a bit since a friend does some of this. Now I get what he's talking about.

That would be a good benefit.
