Are We Not Entertained? discussion

Wow, welcome folks. :)
This whole thing was kind've made on a whim so bare with me here. Lol. I'll try to get looking all cool and badass in the next day or so.

That being said I really liked the idea of doing this, we all read a lot so I don't know if we really would do this each month, maybe bi monthly? though I'm certainly down with one a month.

I guess the best thing to start off with is suggestions.

Olive came up with this one, but is there any better suggestions anyone would like to offer up?

The frequency of which we read? Monthly, bi monthly? etc

And simply the mechanics. Should we just alternate between people making selections. The way I see it, I doubt we'll actually be able to consistently find books that EVERYONE expects to dislike. So I was thinking maybe take turns and have a member select a book.. or maybe (if more people get involved) pick like two or three to choose from and we vote on it.

This means you're not ALWAYS reading terrible fiction. Sometimes what someone expects to couldbe something you're looking forward too.

Anyway, that's just my spitball of a thought process. What do you all think??



By the by.. I'm pumped for this idea. lol even if not a good reads group I would most likely ended up doing this on my channel regardless heh. :)

I really like the idea of this group because I have a tendency to love EVERYTHING I read based on recommendations and series. However, this also means that I don't often branch outside of the genres I like. My 'to read' shelf is never ending but hey, let's throw some more in there! I like the idea of voting on books as well because of the fact that there are so many different likes and dislikes.

I find that voting is the easiest option. And I'm good with either bo- or monthly! I'm always looking for new stuff to read!
