2016: A-Z Reading Challenge

Duration: January 1 to December 31, 2016
Number of Books: 26
Guidelines:
- Read one book for every alphabet
- You can read in any order you wish
- The articles “a”, “an” & “the” are not counted as part of the title
- You can only use one way to complete the challenge
- Any books are acceptable: young adult, new adult or adult books. However, since we are young adult group, you are encouraged to read as many young adult books as possible!
Pick Your Option: Choose how you are going to read for this challenge
A. Title:
The first letter in the title of the books (not the title of the series) should correspond to a letter in the alphabet. Letters Q, X and Z can be positioned anywhere in the title.
Examples:
A: All Fall Down
B: The Boy Most Likely To
C: The Conspiracy of Us
...
B. Author:
The first letter in the author’s (first or last) name should correspond to a letter in the alphabet. Letters Q, X and Z can be positioned anywhere in the author’s name.
Examples: "Last Names"
A: Madelyn Alt: In Charm's Way
B: Holly Black: The Darkest Part of the Forest
C: Kresley Cole: Dead of Winter
...
C. Character:
The first letter in the main character’s (first or last) name should correspond to a letter in the alphabet. Letters Q, X and Z can be positioned anywhere in the character’s name.
Examples:
A: August: Wonder
B: Braden: On Dublin Street
C: Chris: Breathless
...
D. Series:
The first letter in the title of the series should correspond to a letter in the alphabet. Letters Q, X and Z can be positioned anywhere in title of the series.
Examples:
A: Altered #3: Reborn
B: Bloodlines #6: The Ruby Circle
C: The Coincidence #7: Seth & Greyson
...
E. Cover:
Use the cover for A-Z and as for the letters Q, X, Y, and Z you can use any cover you like.
Examples:
A: Apple : Tear You Apart (Beau Rivage, #2) by Sarah Cross
B: Blood : Red Queen (Red Queen, #1) by Victoria Aveyard
C: Crow : Ferals by Jacob Grey

F. Friend:
Use your GR friends’ first name to complete this challenge. Read the books in their shelves (TBR is preferred, but any shelves will do). Letters Q, X and Z can be positioned anywhere in their names.
Examples:
A: Angel: When You Were Here
B: Britney: Finding Cinderella
C: Claire: On the Fence
...
G. Location:
Use the location where the story takes place to complete this challenge. It can be the town, city or country. Letters Q, X and Z can be positioned anyway in the setting.
Examples:
America: Future Perfect
Brooklyn: Liar & Spy
Canada: Captive
...
