capsaicine | 92 comments Hey everybody! Sorry for the late start on nominations, but it's time to pick our book for the last quarter of the year. The theme for the quarterly read beginning in October is antebellum literature. There are a number of great, albeit underappreciated works in this category! Looking forward to your nominations.

Beverly Are you looking for nominations of books that were written during the antebellum period or books where the setting is the antebellum period regardless of publication date?

message 3: by Brina (new)

Brina Beverly I was thinking the same thing thank you for asking.

capsaicine | 92 comments That's a great question; I will leave it up to you and the rest of the group to decide. I would prefer our focus be on literature written during the antebellum period.
