Is there a professional read you would like to read as a group in 2017? We know everyone is super busy, so it would be very low key and low stress. Please share your ideas.

For those friends in the Omaha Metro, my husband Nathan, our friend Michelle Boyce, and I are coordinating #OmahaPubPD. As part of this adventure, we're starting our first meetings by discussing George Couros's book, the Innovator's Mindset. The first meeting is this Friday (Sept. 23). We're discussing the first section. Anyone is welcome to join us!That being said, I'm game for some options that are also library-based. Not sure what's currently out there, but I could look into it!
I'd be game for that one, Cynthia! I've also been thinking about continuing my reading on MakerSpaces. I know Diana Rendina has a list of "must reads" on one of her blogs. I'll have to look at some of the specific titles, but would anyone be interested in that as well?
Cynthia wrote: "Librarian's Book of Lists by George Eberhart - a fun tongue in cheek look at library life."I would also be interested in reading that one, Cynthia!
Share your thoughts for a start date for Librarian's Book of lists? We will definitely keep it low key since we are all reading other stuff.
Please send me a private message if you would like to chat about "Librarian's Book of Lists" on Thursday, Dec 1st @ 8pm via Google Hangout. I will respond w/ a link for you to use to join us. We will give it a try and see how it goes.
