~Teens Read Too~ discussion

Why is it that so many people think teens don't read of write? Add your opinions!

Hmmm, I think the reason people don't think teens read or write is because it seems alot of teens now are into bad stuff and think reading isn't cool! Another thing is we have ipods, game systems, tv, etc. and most teens would rather be doing that then reading! I would pick reading over that any day because when I read I get lost in the book and it seems as if I'm actually there! lol, sometimes I even start rethinking the story and put myself in it!! :P

And I totally understand were your coming from because when I read its my escape from reality, and in my opinon I believe everyone has to have some sort of escape [;

I agree with both of yall. When I read, I feel like I am suddenly in whatever position the main character is in.

Awww I loved that book!! I cried too...but your right...it's like you feel their emotions!!

I cried alot in shadow kissed! lol But yea, that's exactly it. You feel the emotions when you are into the book.
