Let's read something scary

Sara | 91 comments Oh yes! I don't read enough horror books. I nominate Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury. He's one of my fav authors and I just like the way he tells stories but I've never read something scary from him so I think this could be interesting.

Sounds good! I'm still lurking around for another good one.

Sarah (sarsky) I recommend book by the master of horror, Stephen King. How about Doctor Sleep?

Julia | 53 comments I was thinking like Frankenstein by Mary Shelley

I'd love it! I haven't read it!

I've read it. It's more depressing than scary.

I wonder if and when the poll will go up?

message 9: by Karen (new)

Karen Zeliff | 1 comments OK. Great idea. I've read Frankenstein, Dracula, many vampire books, the true tale of Lizzie Borden and some Stephen King. Ray Bradbury's seems accessible, and has a CD version, both from my own library. For discussion purposes, Frankenstein probably wins.

Ray Bradbury would be cool. Or Doctor Sleep.
