Sampson Bullock was a brutal man. Should Sebastian and Paul have taken more precautions leading up to his final attack? What could they have done? Did you see this coming?

Hero helps save herself. Any surprise there?

I had it always in the back of my mind that Sampson was going to strike someone. It was tense.

I knew Sampson would target Sebastian and Hero in some way because he was watching their home.

I'm not sure what else they could have done other than have someone track him.

I loved that Hero helped save herself. And, Alexi and Paul seemed to have a connection that will only get deeper (I hope).

Yeah, Sampson was a nutcase that had already been cracked. I don't know of anything different that could have been done. They both knew they were being watched.
No surprise about Hero. She is a Jarvis after all.

I wasn't at all surprised that Hero had a hand in defending herself. I loved that she worked in tandem with Alexi and Paul (all of Bullock's targets) to rid the world of that total scum.

There was nothing that Sebastian the others could have done to prevent Bullock's attack - he had been following Alexi for a while and hadn't actually done anything so why would they suspect the attack then.

I also loved the way that Alexi, Paul and Hero teamed up, and then Sebastian's surprised response when he came on the scene slightly late.

I'm reminded here to note that one of the strongest things about this series are the way the action scenes are described. It's very cinematic. I can totally picture the fights as they unfold.

I did think Sebastian should maybe have mentioned Sampson to Hero though, and I also thought he was spending a bit too much time on this whole heart retrieval business once he had figured out who the real threat was.

Maybe one day Hero will have pity on poor Sebastian and let him rescue her. lol

I can see that. Thankfully, Sebastian doesn't have the type of ego that would mind in the least. :-)
