The last in The Oresteia trilogy, The Eumenides follows Orestes now that he is haunted by the Furies for his sin. Orestes runs to the temple of Apollo pleading for help, as the god is the one who originally ordered him to kill Clytemnestra. Athena appears and a trial is held, with the Furies as prosecutors and Orestes as defendant.
