Salinger by Shields & Salerno (biography) I'm a bit obsessed with J.D. Salinger and his work.
The Yearling by Marjorie Kinan Rawlings This was a favorite from high school and my grandpa's favorite book. If you love books like Where the Red Fern Grows, read The Yearling.
Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire I'm a bit ashamed that I have not read all the Harry Potter books. I'm working on them.
Charlotte's Web My son and I are reading this together right now.

So, you're going to think I am crazy and that this is crazy. I just now read Charlotte's Web for the first time. I loved it and think it really tells a great story of character and friendship. Charlotte shows a great friendship for Wilbur as does he for her. Even though it's for younger readers I still enjoyed it and enjoyed the ending chapters especially. Not to mention Ferns change as she gets older and Templeton is so stubborn and fairly funny to me. I am glad I finally read it. That friendship between Wilbur, Charlotte, and even Fern is something I wish everyone could have.
