Books2Movies Club discussion

This little book, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, J.K. Rowling, sorry, Newt Scamander wrote for a charity. It wasn't meant to be nothing more than an amusement for all those Harry Potter fans who dreamed of owning an actual Hogwarts's textbook. It didn't take long before it became an inspiration for a movie about Newt Scamander's adventures that would occupy our cinemas this November. And that's only a beginning of a new franchise :)
The booklet I believe we'll peruse in fifteen minutes if not less, it's the movie we'll have to wait for. In the meantime, please share with us what you like the most in the book. Do not forget to mention your favourite magic creature :)

I think my sister has the book, but I can't remember if I ever got around to reading it. I put a hold on it at the library but I'm #30 on the list, so we'll see how long that takes!

I did however go see the movie yesterday and it was very delightful, though definitely dark in places. Not necessarily for the little ones. A very good story, though, for something that was supposed to just be a little side thing for Rowling.
