An author that I think has propelled himself into the upper echelons of horror writer is Ronald Malfi. I've recently read The Night Parade The Night Parade by Ronald Malfi and the writing was absolutely amazing. His writing style has a maturity about it that so few authors can claim. Has anyone else had the pleasure of reading Malfi?

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) Unfortunately I have not.

I do have "Snow" by him to read eventually.

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) While browsing the book page, I saw your review of The Night Parade. You have me curious. Will check it out.

Vicki Willis I definitely want to read this one. I have read Snow and Little Girls and loved them both!

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) I finished Snow by him in October and really enjoyed it. Good writing and nice pace - a few creepy parts.

Could you provide a link to your interview with him?

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) Great interview!

The creature from the black lagoon is my favorite too :)

I like his point about subtle horror being creepier than gore for effect.
