Can we genderbend characters?

Hmm, I knew someone would ask this question so I've been thinking about it quite a bit. I think the big, popular characters (ie. Snow White, Prince Charming, the Evil Queen) should stay the genders they already are. However for the smaller characters, I think it'd be fine to genderbend them, such as the Big Bad Wolf.

So for big characters do you mean ones done by Disney?

Not necessarily, though the list I have right now would make it seem like that. I am going to be adding more claims though, and I'm going to make a fairytale suggestion thread too.

Ok so say I wanted to genderbend Cruella De Vil would that be ok or no? Also yay a fairytale suggestion thread *claps hands* I already have a couple of suggestions XD

Hm. I always personally thought Cruella was one of the most feminine characters out there, but I suppose there's nothing truly definitive about her that makes her a woman. She doesn't have a love interest or anything, so I think that'd be fine if you genderbent her.

No definitive ages, though I have a feeling lots of people will make their own characters about the same age as the original characters.

Are regular people allowed to fall in love with Fairytale characters?

Yes. While two fairytale characters that are already involved with each other in the stories automatically are drawn to each other in a romantic sense, it is not impossible for them to love someone else.

I was going to ask if we could create non-fairy tale characters!

I needed to ask because everyone is taking the claims I'd want but cie le've. I just want to be able to make characters that aren't related to the fairy tales

Yes, regular characters are just fine to make!
