The Lost Challenges discussion

From this month we are going to start awarding "badges" for completion of challenges. The badges are just for fun and for bragging purposes!

All ongoing TLC challenges posted by an official Mod (past or present) will be eligible for badge rewards. (Make Your Own challenges and Archived challenges are not eligible).

Badges will be displayed here in 'The Hall of Fame'. Each member will have their own thread and badges will be posted by the Mods on completion of challenges.

Badges for the monthly challenges will be awarded from September, for the longer running challenges we will be back dating badges, so if you completed a challenge before the scheme started you will still get your badge!

This is a fairly big process to check who has earned which badge, so please bear with me while the scheme gets underway.
If you think that I have missed awarding you a badge just let me know in this thread and I'll look into it.

If you don't see a thread with your name on it, I probably just haven't got to you yet. Feel free to start your own thread in this folder for me to post your badges!

I'll be going through all the challenges over the next week or so and seeing which badges people have earned so I've left some extra spaces on the individual threads to make sure there's enough room for all the badges. Once I'm caught up I'll delete any I haven't used.

Thanks Joann. Once I'm caught up on all the old challenges it should be fairly simple to keep up. I hope... :)

As I check each challenge for badges earned I'll be posting to say it's been checked and badges awarded. After that point, you will need to post and let me know that you have completed to get your badge. If I've missed you, let me know! :)

This is wonderful! Love the idea of getting a fun reward to encourage finishing a challenge, especially when it gets chaotic.

Jess signed up for a challenge called Disney Songs Challenge. A new one for me.... sometimes I find a challenge that I am not familiar with.
I disagree with the past thoughts that "Create A Challenge" challenges should not receive badges!

I have made badges for each level of this challenge. Ongoing, badges will be awarded. If you finished this challenge after September 2016, you are eligible for a badge!

An FYI - the online program that I use to make badges is not working correctly right now. I'm hoping it will get fixed. I found another program to use but the badges will look a little different!

I'm going to make a second set of badges for the BFTP: The Romance Genre Challenge. So if you want to play again, you will earn a new badge!!

During the end of September and through out the beginning and middle of October there have been problems on GR. Notifications not working or not being able to post or edit in messages. Several times we were kicked off GR. Or GR was at capacity and we could not get on. One minute things would work and then the next minute it would not. Hopefully everything was fixed and it will be smooth sailing from now on.
If any badges were not awarded, please let us know.

It was probably a day where everything went crazy on GR!

For the past couple of weeks I have been having problems on GR. We realized that I use Microsoft Edge and GR does not like it. So I need to constantly clean my cache and cookies for it to work correctly.

Don't worry about it! Sometimes when I copy the code for the badges, one character gets left off and then the badge won't show. Or you get this> instead of this< and it won't show. :)
