YAY, it's the twelfth!

Since there isn't a thread for it yet, I'm going to post here.
I think my favorite is probably Neverseen... But they just keep getting better, so that might change soon!

Yeah me to. It seemed to be the most elaborate of the 4 but the 3rd and 1st are close rivals!!!

For me,i think it's NEVERSEEN too,it introduces alot of new characters,shows more character development and alot of heartbreaking scenes..even though EVERBLAZE had the most sophitz scenes xD

For the start of character appreciation day, my first character appreciation is Edaline. It is described in the book that she's always the fragile one, the one that could break at any second, but in the last two books she's said to be strong and extremely calm despite the situations at hand. That's some serious character development. I also appriecate Alden's drive to protect Sophie and both Fitz and Biana's loyalty.

For character appreciation, I have to say Sophie or Fitz. I mean, Fitz Was a Little bit too snobby in the first book. For character development, I think Fitz definitely wins second place. (And before you ask, first place is for Sophie) As the series progresses, Fitz looks at other's needs more than his own--courtesy of being cognate/most trusted person of Sophie--you can definetely see his development by looking at his reaction to Sophie saying that she would think about learning Telepathy in the first book, and why he wanted to let everyone get gelato in Neverseen. See?

Also, guys, isn't today Day 3--or 2?

For day 3 I obviously like all sophitz scenes, but two of my favorites are in Everblaze when they first have to share secrets(chapter 28) and where he comes over to her house and they try to recreate what had happened the night before so Sophie can try to implant (chapter 46). Also pretty much all the cognate scenes in Neverseen are also favorites. My favorite non-sophitz scene is probably the great splotching championship in the first book. I also like the part were Keefe's finds Mr. Snuggles in Neverseen. Soooooooo many more but these are my top ones.

Ok, remember that scdne in Everblaze that Mr. Forkle tells the team that he will show Fitz how to get past Sophie's blocking? When I read Everblaze today--for the twelfth time (literally)--when I read that scene, I remembered that I loved the part when:

"[Fitz] He leaned toward her, 'What do I say?'
'How would I know?' Sophie said, 'I don't even know what [Mr. Forkle] HE says [to get past her blocking].'

Fitz sighed, searching her face like the answer would be scrawled across her lips. And maybe it did, because a few seconds later, he shouted, 'I'm in!'"


The last few words might not be exact, because I'm writing this from my memory of it from about 3 hours ago, but you get the gist of it.


I know that one thing we will probably find out in Lodestar is what Fitz says to Sophie's subconscious mind to gain her trust and enter her mind.


Also, did you see what I saw?

Scenes? Well, I have a lot of scenes...

I LOVE the one where Keefe finds Mr. Snuggles. That's probably my favorite to read-aloud. Not only because it's so fun, but because I can make my friend burst into uncontrollable laughter whenever I do it...

I also REALLY love the Cognate scenes. All of them.

Also, that one part at the beggining of Lodestart with the superhero T-shirts.

But what has to win the prize is the last couple pages in everblaze, when Sophie is about to join the Black Swan and all her friends come and make her take them with her. Not just because I like it, but because I've spent, like three hours this week converting it into comic book form. Because English class.t

For me,i think it's the scene where they talk about Sophie's human upbringing and Fitz explains why he thought Sophie was the elf they were looking for,it sounded like he really liked her and also the scene where Bronte revealed the truth about the Ogres and drakostomes because thats where i really began to like him,i really love how much character development Bronte has,and Fitz's too!!

For ship day I obviously have to go with sophitz because it's the best ship Eva!!!! But as far as more minor ships go I probably would go with Keefe and Biana or tam and Biana. Still deciding....

Opposites attract--and remember that time when Fitz told Sophie he wanted to be special\extraordinary, like Sophie, and Sophie told Fitz that she wanted to be ordinary, like her? That was when they figured out that was the reason they trusted each other--also, Cognates are different things or have different jobs (EX: Probe and Keeper)--OPPOSITES!!!! (My point is, Sophie and Fitz are opposites, and opposites attract)

And for the start of KOTLC-verse day....I wanted to share with you guys a headcannon i made up---

But imagine Sophie and Fitz have their cognate training as usual and Sophie suddenly breaks down sobbing.Fitz,for the nth time since they met,pulls her close and lets her smear tears and snot on his tunic while she thinks of Keefe's & Alvar's betrayal.But then she realizes that Fitz''s shoulder blades and shaking and feels his tears soak through her back and she knows that he really,really misses his best friend and brother.

Awww I feel so sad for Fitz--but I still think that his main reaction will be anger

Ships:

Well, obviously Sophitz.
For SO. MANY. REASONS.

Dexiana. My other favorite.

Keeflihn. I actually started drawing Keeflihn shipart the other day, but I haven't finished yet.

Ships I DON'T like:

There actually aren't many of these in Keeper. I of course REALLY LOVE my favorites, but I like some of the contradictories too, like Tambiana and Sokeefe.

I think the only one that really makes me angry is Litz.

Dexarella-Even when I liked Marella, this one still never seemed quite right to me...

Also, anything else involving Marella. If she GETS OVER HERSELF this MAY change, but as of now... urgg.

I'm interested to see that other than Sophitz, my ships are pretty different from ya'alls

Favorite storyline/plot twist.

Mmm, so many to choose from!
I can't choose. Seriously, I love them all so much. The love tangle, maybe? But all the mysteries are so alluring too! I'm REALLY interested to know who Sophie's parents are...

As for plot twists that already happened... I'm not sure I should be aloud to choose this one, because I actually guessed it before it happened, but when I developed the theory that Brant was a Pyrokinetic, I went NUTS.
I was about -this- close to jumping on the computer to email my friend and ask her if it was true. Also, there may have been screaming involved.

Something about KOTLC?

Well, I never really had a favorite series (with the exception of Harry Potter--it's a classic) until KOTLC.

So now, I am obsessed with KOTLC, almost all my friends know KOTLC, but know nothing ABOUT it, because I don't give away spoilers until you read the book.

Anyway, KOTLC, is my fav series of all time, and I love Sophie's virtue!!!!!!!!


I just want to know...how many of us don't ship anyone except Sophitz? (Because other than Sophitz, I don't really mind the other characters ships, because...well...I just don't feel strong about any other ship, I guess--AND I love Fitz because he sometimes reminds me of myself, and I can really relate to him)

My favorite plot twist was probably when (this is not exactly a big storyline plot twist, but is definitely a ship-clarification type of thing) either Fitz and Sophie were sharing three secrets/doing Cognte training OR when Sophie straight out thought (as in it was in the books) that she liked Fitz and Keefe interuppted them and Fitz and Keefe argue about themselves and Sophie--LOVED THAT PART. In general, those were more like ship-plot-twists.

But in the first book, when Sophie and Alden figure out that Sophie is Project Moonlark--that was my fav plot twist.

I'm going to skip ahead and post for tommorow, in case I don't get to afterwards. My favorite non romantic relationship is probably either Alden and Sophie's, or Grady and Edaline's and Sophie's, or Sophie and Elwin's, or Sophie or Sandor's, or Sophie and Tiergan, or Sophie and Mr. Forkle's--you get the pattern. Of course, I also love Biana's support and friendship to Sophie. I can't wait to see how relations with Prentice, Stina, Marella, Wylie, Linh, and Tam go.

I also have to include Keefe's and Dex's frienship, as well.


But seriously, even for non romantic relationships, the best ones go to the one you trust the most--the one who knows you the best.

I think I have to say Fitz & Dex. I like the conflict between those two, and all the funny moments it causes. Also, I just really like Fitz and Dex.

What part do you like?

Well, the first thing that comes to mind is the "Deck" moment.
It might be just me, but I thought that was HILARIOUS.

Every single Wonderboy comment.

The whole thing with the Arthropleura.

And especially the part at the end of Neverseen when Dex says he'll *try* to keep the Fitz bashing to a minimum. Lol, interested to see how that works out.

Basically all of it though. It's such and interesting dynamic.

What about the Keefe and Lady Gisela one?
Which part do you like?

No, actually, I want to ask all of you: Do you sympathize with Lady Gisela in any way?
Do you think Keefe did the right thing by joining the Neverseen?

For me, I think that I'll only be able to sympathize with Lady Gisela once I actually know WHY she joined the Neverseen.
Two, I thnk Keefe was being A BIT too reckless, but in his position, I probably would have done the same thing, which is also why I saw Keefe joining the Neverseen (it was my prediction) WAY early in the book.

My fav quotes are, "I'd rather be punished for doing the right thing than live with guilt the rest of my life, " this one's Sophie's!! And "The Days Ahead Wiil Be Dark and Dour,
You Must Not Fear Youself Or Your Power," by the Black Swan to Sophie (in Everblaze). I LOVE these quotes most of all!!!

Mine are "We could all use a little more weird in our lives" by Fitz and "There will always be people who disappoint us,and it's up us when to forgive and when to walk away" by Edaline

Mrs. Messenger posted that she would be releasing new teasers EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. TILL Lodestar is released!!!!!!!! (aka Nov 1st)

A moment that made me go "awwwwww?" A LOT of Sophitz moments.

But you know that time in Book 1 when Fitz was by Sophie's side while she was healing and unconscious near the end of the book? And that the one time Della made him go away was when she woke up? It was so nice when Fitz told Sophie that.




Oh, and that moment when Keefe told Sophie and Fitz to stop talking telepathically or else he would assume that they were flirting??????????



AMAZING HOW FUNNY KEEFE CAN BE SOMETIMES. SERIOUSLY.

Does anyone else like the scene where Fitz apologizes to Sophie after being a "jerk"? I loved reading that scene!

Also, I love all of their telepathy conversations and training!

Oh, and the Lufteraftor Incident.

Okay, onto catching up on ALL THE TOPICS.

Okay, I'm not going to do something for EVERY day I was gone, cuz, well, that would be a LOT of stuff, but here's a few of them:

Crazy Sophi Things: Hmm... well, I love pretty much all of the sophie things.
But I do have a LEAST favorite Sophie thing. I just cringe every time I read the part where she reads Dimitars mind. STUPID DECISION ALERT. Makes me crazy.

Something underrated: Frosters.

And I have a LOT of stuff for AU day, so I'll do that one tomorrow...
