A new month is almost here!

In October I plan to be focusing on the following titles I just received from Netgalley:

All We Shall Know by Donal Ryan Falling by Julie Cohen White by Tim Lebbon

I also intend to read Ozarium by Brick Marlin , which the author was kind enough to provide. I remember I enjoyed book one quite a lot so looking forward to this one.

Not necessarily in this order and if anyone wants to do a buddy read of these or other books in my netgalley to read shelf or other to read stuff please let me know.

What are you reading in October?

L'équation africaine by Yasmina Khadra Léon l'Africain by Amin Maalouf Les trésors de la mer Rouge by Romain Gary Half the Sky Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide by Nicholas D. Kristof Season of Migration to the North by Tayeb Salih

Kandice I would like to finish Harvest Home, but it's slow going. I also want to read Practical Magic for my RL book club, Three Past Midnight: The Library Policeman, Esperanza Rising and Preacher, Book 6 to refresh. Everything else will just be whim.

Melaslithos | 1645 comments It's the end of the month, time for a little wrap-up.
This month, I was not too far from the initial plan. Here is what I read:
L'équation africaine by Yasmina Khadra Fear of the Dark by Mark Woods Léon l'Africain by Amin Maalouf Half the Sky How to Change the World by Nicholas D. Kristof

I'd like to mention especially Half the Sky: How to Change the World. I think everyone should read it, it talks about essential subjects, even though I found it a bit too "American" in its POV and a bit patronizing and infantilizing at times.
