A new month is almost here!

In October I plan to be focusing on the following titles I just received from Netgalley:



I also intend to read , which the author was kind enough to provide. I remember I enjoyed book one quite a lot so looking forward to this one.

Not necessarily in this order and if anyone wants to do a buddy read of these or other books in my netgalley to read shelf or other to read stuff please let me know.

I would like to finish Harvest Home, but it's slow going. I also want to read Practical Magic for my RL book club, Three Past Midnight: The Library Policeman, Esperanza Rising and Preacher, Book 6 to refresh. Everything else will just be whim.

It's the end of the month, time for a little wrap-up.
This month, I was not too far from the initial plan. Here is what I read:


I'd like to mention especially Half the Sky: How to Change the World. I think everyone should read it, it talks about essential subjects, even though I found it a bit too "American" in its POV and a bit patronizing and infantilizing at times.

I definitely recommend Falling.

I read Three Past Midnight: The Library Policeman, Ready Player One, Seventh Heaven, Practical Magic, Truth and Fiction in The Da Vinci Code: A Historian Reveals What We Really Know about Jesus, Mary Magdalene & Constantine, Tower of Babylon and The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul.
