Cup of Coffee Book Club discussion

Hi everyone!
Sorry I have been a bit off the radar recently. I have been enjoying this months read, and have not quite finished it so please do read it if you haven't started it yet as I will be starting the discussion next week.
I was thinking of reading a ghost story/classic scary novel for this months read as an ode to halloween. I have one in mind, but what does everyone think?

Okay so for this months read I have chosen something I have always wanted to read.... The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson. It is a classic scary novel, and I have just heard great things about it. Let's prepare ourselves for some spooky bedtime reading and snuggle further under the covers for this one.
