Lockdown: Escape From Furnace is a great if you are looking for an intense book. It has tons of action and keeps you from getting bored. Alexander Gordon Smith does a great job of giving detail and imagery.

I think the wheezers represent the theme of Punishment clearly since they don’t have anything about them that isn’t scary, even the small details of the gas masks being stitched to their face makes them scarier. The fact that the hulking black suits are afraid of them makes them even scarier I mean these guys are supposed to take on, and hold back the huge dogs but even they are afraid of the wheezer who seem to barely be able to breathe and seem slow and methodical this really does show off the theme of Punishment and Karma.
