Yay! This sounds like an excellent choice :3 I've been collecting the paperback UK covers for the series, and I have the latest one pre-ordered. And guess when it's supposed to come out? January! I probably shouldn't reread it since I have a pile of other things picked out already, but I'm pretty excited about the timing haha :)

I would also recommend A Study in Charlotte, it's a recent YA Sherlock Holmes adaptation - https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
And if anyone wants to correspond their watching to their reading I'm going to be catching up on Elementary, which I really enjoy and recommend! I'm terrible at TV so this is my excuse to try and get caught up.
A Study in Charlotte
and
Trouble Is a Friend of Mine are Sherlock based books. The first of which has a female Sherlock.

Since I'm only planning on reading two books maximum, I'll not be making an announcement this time around :)
I'll be posting a TBR either tonight or tomorrow hopefully! It'd be neat to see everyone else's. ^___^ Maybe I'll start a TBR thread on here!

Awesome! I'm hoping to get mine up Wed or so. I have to pick up The Beekeeper's Apprentice from the library. =3

I have the first 3 books in this series as well, I plan on starting them this month.

I am currently listening to this on Audible and the narrator is EXCELLENT. The story is pretty good too. I'm almost done with The House of Silk and will be jumping right into Moriarty once I'm done.

Of course, we can start off with the originals by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...
I also highly recommend the Mary Russell/Sherlock Holmes series by Laurie R King, which starts with The Beekeeper's Apprentice: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/9...
A few others that are on my list to read or that I've read before are..
A Study in Lavender: Queering Sherlock Holmes... https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/9...
