Fireheart could hear a roaring around him, like wind in tall trees. The acrid stench of the Thunderpath stung his nostrils, together with a new smell, sharper and more terrifying. Fire!

Book Two of WARRIORS continues Fireheart's quest to be a true warrior, when he finds new danger lurking in the woods as the chill of winter sets in.

WindClan is missing, and hostilities between the remaining three clans place all the cats in peril. Illness and tragic accidents weaken the camp, and ThunderClan needs all its warriors to defend itself - but Fireheart suspects that certain cats may not be as loyal as they appear.

-50% (view spoiler)[ I find Greystripe and Silverstream's situation oddly entertaining. It's a very cliche situation with the whole forbidden love between warring clans thing. But at the same time, it ingeniously adds to the story without deviating much from the tension between the clans and it's entertaining! (hide spoiler)]

-63% (view spoiler)[ The development between Sandpaw and Fireheart was abrupt and out of nowhere. I don't know why and maybe it's because they're cat but I think it's adorable! (hide spoiler)]

Oh woah I'm really behind :p I'm going to try and finish it now, assuming people are on to sprint. And I'll have lots of time tomorrow to read, as I'm only seeing bf in the afternoon/evening.

Thunderpath's a road, and the monsters are cars :p Didn't you know that from the first book? I suppose trying to figure out by the descriptions are tricky. And I think the network of the road means like motorway/freeway/highway or something? Not sure what you guys call it :p

Yes those are my thoughts for sure. Like we had minor stuff happening, but nothing major til the last 20pgs or so.

I'm glad I read quite a lot today :) Like around 200 pages. I'm 35% through now, not sure when I'll get back to it though haha.

I was kind of worried we'd set Forest of Secrets for the 21st :p I wouldn't be ready by then. I'm really behind on my reading XD Still not read any more of Fire and Ice.

So I basically haven't read 1 whole book this month. I've read maybe one day this month and that's terrible! I'm just taking on more shifts at work and trying to see boyfriend haha.

It's okay, i haven't even put in the hold for book 3 yet, so we can wait, i have other stuff i need to read first anyhow :) no worries!

And did you guys know a movie's being made for Warriors? :D It'll be animated (CGI) so I can't wait :D One of the Harry Potter producers is joining the team too. It'll be incredible I so can't wait. I just hope they don't screw it up.
