Outlander sounds interesting, and not something I'd normally pick for myself; so, color me intrigued!

Sorry for the double post, but I wanted to add two suggestions of my own :)

I've wanted to read The Lies of Locke Lamora forever, and would love an excuse to finally do so!

Hollowland is another idea, if anyone here is interested at all in zombies. It's a YA novel, so it shouldn't be too gory/over the top.

Have you read the The Zombie Survival Guide: Complete Protection from the Living Dead .. its from the same guy who wrote World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War.

Yes ... LOL I'm going to try :) ... I just finished Game of Thrones book 4 ... so I just started book 5, so I'll need a lighter book to read. :)
