Universes Unite [Rebooted!] discussion

A very well built bridge that gives a very pretty view of the river it crosses. The river cuts through the forest.

Terra stopped on the bridge and put her cycle away. She then began pulling out ropes and two harnesses from her backpack.

((Are they going bungee jumping?))

Rowan watched her, wondering what she was doing. He was way excited though. It had been a super long time since he'd done anything crazy.

((something like that.))

Terra tossed him a harness before putting hers on and making two anchors and then attaching her rope to her harness.

((Okay then))

Rowan put the harness on without question. "What exactly are we doing?"

Terra smirked. "You'll see." She said and made sure she had the flight charm on before beginning to climb over the bridge railing and lower herself down a bit.

Rowan went to the railing as he tied a rope to his harness. He was wondering what she was doing, and despite himself, he was a little worried.

When Terra got low enough, she began climbing on the underside of the bridge.

Rowan started to do as she'd done, going a little faster so that he could catch up.

Terra smirked and sat in the understructure of the bridge and motioned for him to be quiet.

Rowan smiled and got over to where she was silently.

Terra pointed to the undercarriage of the bridge and there were tons of sleeping bats.

Rowan raised his eyebrows and looked back at her, silently asking what about them?

Terra smiled softly and let out a high, squeaky pitched squeak, and a few bats jumped and flew over and landed on them, nuzzling them gently.

Rowan rubbed his ears from the sound. "Bat pets?" he whispered. "Is that what this is for?"

Terra smirked and shook her head. She took out a device like a camera, scanned the bat wings, before slowly climbing back up to the bridge.

Rowan's eyebrows scrunched up in confusion. he climbed up after her, trying to get the bats off him as he went.

Terra laughed and then pulled out two jet pack looking things.

"Tell me what you're doing!" Rowan begged. He was dying of curiosity.

Terra laughed and tossed him a jet pack. "We're going water gliding. The picture was just cause I wanted a picture of a vampire surrounded by bats." She said and laughed.

"Hey!" Rowan laughed. "I can't believe you did that. No wait, I probably would have done it too. Water gliding sounds fun."

Terra smirked and pressed a button on the pack and a large, holographic board appeared. She grabbed it and smirked before taking her harness off and then running and leaping of the bridge. In mid air she got the board under her feet and just before it touched the water it stopped, hovering above it. She smirked and motioned for him to follow.

Rowan watched her and smirked, following her lead and doing exactly what she did. "This is pretty awesome!" he said, almost bursting with excitement.

Terra laughed at his excitement. "Alright so to go forward, put more pressure on your front foot, to turn lean and put pressure on the side you want to turn towards, it's pretty simple." She old him before smirking and speeding off down the river, sending a spray of water behind her as she hovered three inches over the river.

Rowan shrugged, sounded simple enough. He shielded himself as she sprayed water everywhere and then he sped off after her. It was lucky he had good balance because otherwise he probably would have fallen off.

Terra smirked at him and sprayed him with water as she sped down the river along side him.

Rowan laughed as she got him wet. This was fun and all, but he wanted to be faster. He sped up, wanting to beat her to wherever the river led.

Terra smirked. "Oh it's a race you want?" She shouted over the roar of the wind. With that she sped up, dodging rocks and boulders in the river and grinned as they came upon some rapids.

"Oh Arceus..." Rowan mumbled, his eyes widening. It looked super danderous as well as fun.

Terra smirked and skillfully went over or dodged the rocks, her board jumping and leaping through the rapids.

Rowan had quick reflexes, so he just tried to maneuver around the rocks, but there was a point where there was only rocks and he tried to jump them, but tripped himself up instead.

Terra's eyes widened in fear, scared he'd wipe out in the middle of Rapids.

Rowan regained his balance and gave a thumbs up, though he wasn't even sure if she was watching or not.

Terra sighed in relief when he got up again and flew around the Rapids happily.

Rowan sped up again, making up for all the distance he'd lost.

Terra smirked and flew until her board began running out of battery. She pulled off to the side of the river and put it back in it's capsule.

Rowan pulled over to her and hopped off the board. "So uh...what do I do with this?" he asked.

Terra laughed slightly. "Here." She said and pressed a holographic square on the board and it folded up into a small sphere that fit into a pocket.

"Awesome," Rowan said. "That was super fun!" He smiled.

Terra smiled and nodded. "Yeah, it really was. That's basically surfing on the grid."

"Wow, that sounds fun," Rowan said. "I've never actually tried surfing. Because well, it requires the sun. Vamps and the sun are....not the best. Won't kill me, but it's still not comfortable."

Terra chuckled and nodded. "Same. ISO's and water.... not a very good mix. This way I don't ever touch the water." She said.

"Then it's great for both of us!" Rowan said, smiling. "Great invention."

Terra laughed and nodded. "How long till curfew?" She asked.

"We have to be back at dark, I think Grandma told me..." Rowan said. "And I guess we'll register tomorrow."

Terra smirked. "So we're not heading back till dawn?"

Rowan chuckled. "I would say yes, but I'm a little scared. I think we should at least be on campus tonight."

Terra sighed. "No fun." She said.

"Hey, we could camp out at the ruins of the school," Rowan suggested. "That's about as far off campus as I dare go. Just because my grandmother scares me......"

Terra raised and eyebrow. "How would she even find out if we're at the school?" She asked.
