So I got back my English exam yesterday and I'm missing half a point to get an A- (I'm not sure if that's what you call it there) and he marked the words "newspaper" and "artist" as mistakes because "you can't say that nowadays" but when someone else said "the drawer" he corrected it to "artist"?? I'm not an English expert but these words aren't wrong, right? He also changed "constantly using smartphones and other devices" to "using smartphones constantly and other devices" and I don't know if I'm the stupid one or if he is...

I know that technically a B+ is really good but he told me he was disappointed because of my mistakes..?

I only have a Star Trek flipphone. (It's a flipphone, but I called it a Star Trek. You know, the 70's/80's tv show.)

I'm so excited! My dog Emma gave birth! She has two beautiful puppies we christianed Shylee and Curly. ;) Emma and her 'husband' Bambi are very happy.

Thanks! I'm excited to raise both of them. My cat Amelie has delivered kittens before so she knows what it's like to be in labor and she hasn't left Emma's side once. It's so cute.

Not many people do. There's a *lot* of misinformation out there. Two "rules" are
1. Presume competence (assume we understand you, even if we aren't verbal)
2. Nothing about us without us (the rhyme is kind of cutesy, but if an organization ,such as Autism Speaks, talks about autism but has no input from actual autistics, it's probably not a good sign).

Wait! Really? Next month is actually December and the last month of the year? I feel so stupid because I kinda forgot December was the last month of the year. For some reason this whole month I've been thinking January was the last month of the year. Wow, I guess I haven't been thinking.

Do you have any recommendations on how to organize books in different languages on the same shelf? I only have this one big bookshelf and my room is too small to buy more, but German books are just soooo ugly and I don't want them to mix with the nice English ones D:

I would have posted an example picture of how ugly some of my German books are, but I have no idea how to do that xD

I never wanted to read Harry Potter because of my parents who told me that all fantasy books were bad, but I started reading it after we had watched the first movie in class a few months ago ^^
