This is great. I was wondering how the feature worked. I will start setting up a shelf for both my Nook and my Kindle. The Nook one may take me longer since I have to look up each individual book at B&N and here. At least now I can add kindle books several at a time without looking up each individual book.
TC, if you want to become my nookfriend, just PM and I will give you my email address. I also have books on my kindle app and would be happy to lend.
Great, Turtlecollector and ~Leslie~! Be sure to put your links to your shelves in the appropriate threads when you get all your ducks in a row.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Do you have a link for the Kindle for Windows download? It's been on my computer for awhile now but when I just tried to open it I got an error saying that it was expired and I need to update it. When I went to Amazon to re-download I couldn't find it. All I found was a Kindle for Android app. :/

Kindle Lending:
• First, make sure that the book you have is lending enabled. You can find out by looking at the book’s page on Amazon.
• You need to know your friend’s personal e-mail address that is known by Amazon, but is NOT their Kindle e-mail address.
• Each book may only be loaned once. After that, the book may no longer be loaned out. So, be sure you really are ready to read it when you make your request.
• Books may be borrowed for 14 days only. After that, they will be returned automatically.
•While your book is loaned out, you can’t read it on your own device.
• As of now, only US customers may lend ebooks, but people from outside the US may receive Kindle books.

Nook Lending:
• Not all Nook books are lendable. Check the options in your Nook Library. If there is no ‘LendMe’ tag on the B&N website, or the lend option doesn’t show under ‘View Details and Options,’ then it probably can’t be loaned.
• As the owner of the books, you may also view a list of all your lendable books by tapping ‘LendMe,’ found under the My Stuff icon along the top of the screen in your Nook Library.
• Nook books may only be loaned once. After that, the book may no longer be loaned out. So, be sure you really are ready to read it when you make your request.
• Each ebook may only be borrowed for 14 days.
• An offer expires after seven days if it hasn’t been accepted.
• You can lend a book from anywhere with supported wireless connectivity (including WiFi hotspots outside of the U.S., U.S. territories, and Canada).
• You can send LendMe offers to any eMail address, but to accept, the recipient must have an eMail address associated with a Barnes & Noble online account, and that means a resident of the United States or Canada.
• You can’t loan a book that has been loaned to you.
•You may only loan one book at a time; you have to wait for a book to be returned before you may make another loan offer.
•While your book is loaned out, you can’t read it on your own device.
