~Masquerade Ball~

En X Otto
Otto looked around, standing in her dress and mask. She waited for En anxiously, pacing back and forth.
En walked onto the balcony where he said he would meet Otto. Having seen her mask, he already knew what to expect.
She walked right into En, "Oh, sorry." Otto wondered if it was him, not seeing his mask. Her pink hair was in an elegant braid.
Otto smiled. "You're the best," she threw her arms around his neck. "We just have to kiss on the balcony tonight!"
"You haven't heard about Cleopatra and Marc Anthony on the balcony? Well if you kiss on the balcony at midnight..." She blushed brightly, realizing how silly the idea of it was.
En looked over at her, "Oh I've heard of them...didn't know they had a legend here though. But, I did think they didn't end their lives happily..." he said trailing off.
"Is that what the legend says?" He asked amused, though he bit his lip, and looked around the room.
"Yeah... In a way" she couldn't really remember the legend. Otto sighed,"So do you want to go dance?"
"Sure, lead the way..." Said En, sensing that Otto may have only been focussing on the kissing part of the legend that she hadn't noticed the other parts. But since he didn't know the legend he couldn't comment.
Otto lead him out to the dance floor when a slow song was playing. "Door u I step on your toes," she said sheepishly.
En just swayed back and forth like people do when slow dancing. His eyes kind of just looked around, looking.
Kyoya sighed as s he began to lead Eri through the ballroom, "We'll dance first, then when he notices us, we'll walk over to them" he whispered subtly and began to hum, putting his hand on her hip and lightly swaying in circles.
En smirked when she kissed his nose, but as she did, his eyes were staring at Eri over Otto's head. He was kind of a little stunned since he hadn't seen her for what seemed like forever.
Eri nodded following after Kyoya, and feeling incredibly weird having him put his hands on her hip while she put her hands on his shoulders to dance. "I hope you have ice...your toes might suffer," she said.

He sighed, The things I do for my job. My aesthetics... why do I follow them he thought. He smiled convincingly, "Oh that shouldn't be a problem..." he said happily. Just act happy... he thought as he swayed her around gracefully.
She groaned, "you're doing it again, faking it, I couldn't care less if you smiled or not," she said not yet noticing that En was staring at her. Probably because Otto had started kissing him.
En kind of kissed Otto a little half heartedly because his mind was in a bit of a frenzy of thoughts wondering who the guy with Eri was. Although, the guy seemed happy, Eri seemed her usual self.

Kyoya smirked, "Oh, must you be so cold?" He said in En's ear shot before leaning a little closer, "You have to make it look realistic. Don't be ignorant" he murmured in a whispery tone.
Eri tried not to wince, then forced herself to smile, "but it's so hard," she said through gritted teeth.
"Oh, it's Eri," he said to her, emotions flaring in all weird and wonderful directions when he heard what Kyoya said, and then leaned in to whisper in Eri's ear...something that made her smile. "with a guy."

"Do you want to go somewhere else? We don't have to stay here, if you don't want to..." She said nervously
Kyoya sighed, "Just endure" he whispered. He hummed, "You look lovely tonight" he said, getting into En's ear shot.
Eri flushed then, thinking of something that ever made her embarassed, so that she could pretend, still smiling, she said, "so do you, lovely of course." She raised her eyes, and then she saw En watching her. She tilted her head.
"No, let's go over," said En, stopping their dance, eyes firmly on the pair.

Kyoya bowed as En walked over to them, I didn't even think about the possibility of En coming to us. I suppose it doesn't change anything He thought. He smiled, "Hello En" he said.
En looked at the guy, "Kyoya," he said nodding curtly, "almost didn't recognise you with that smile on your face," he said it in a good naturedly fashion, surprising himself at the slight bite in his words.
"Otto," said Eri, looking at the other woman, her hand tightening around Kyoya's wrist, more out of annoyance than fear. A waiter came passed holding flutes of something sparkly. To distract herself she handed one to Kyoya and took another for herself.

Kyoya sighed, I know, i'd like to keep it that way he thought. He continued to smile, "Ah, yes, I try to remain calm and collected during jobs like that. So I'm not surprised." he replied.
((omg I didn't see this DX sorry!))
"So it would seem," said En though his eyes were on Eri, still a little shocked by how different she seemed. He said to her,"You look pretty tonight"
Eri glanced sideways at Kyoya, then, back at En, though she didn't have the guts to look up at him. Her cheeks pinked a little, though it wasn't obvious under her mask. "Thanks...so do you..." she mumurred.

Kyoya let out a sigh, "Ah, well I don't believe I had tha chance to greet myself formally, I am" he stepped forward but tripped on his own shoe lace that he had diliberately untied at the stair case, dropping sparkling wine on Otto's dress, "Oh apologies, I am such a clutz" he apologized.
Otto gasped, grabbing on to En's hand. Otto was almost in tears and wanted to get away from them as soon as possible. "I know that was on purpose, you planed that, you jealous bitch," Otto said quietly. She really needed her medication.

Kyoya inwardly smirked, blinking and using that really convincing innocent card he had always used on his father and mother when he got caught doing something, hence why he never got in trouble, "Well actually no, it wasn't on purpose at all. I just felt it neccesary to re introduce myself to you both. I can get yo napkins but it would be rude for me to leave my date uunattended" he said innocently. Don't lose it Eri he thought to her.
Ama appeared, and practically screamed, "oh my god," to which she mentally told herself, why am I calling to myself? and then rushed over as though she were someone not completely random, and started padding Otto's dress, fussing over her so completley, she was like a tornado, "Omg, look at your poor dress, it's like completely ruined!" She nudged in En in the side as she fussed over Otto even more like an annoying, comical aunt, making, somewhat a bit scene.
En blinked, not sure what he should do when the redheaded woman jumped in out of nowhere and elbowed him hard in the ribs, like he should actually do something that mattered. But the redheaded woman was completely distracting Otto now, becoming somewhat visibly more annoying as she went. He was confused at what he should do, knowing he should attend to Otto, yet, torn with the notion of running. He was right now, more conflicted than anything.
A hand grabbed his wrist, and yanked.
Eri realising this was her opportunity to get En away from Otto, just grabbed him and pulled, leading him out of the ballroom, while the redhead was fussing over Otto and making a scene which seemed to be making Otto cry. She glanced once at Kyoya, with a silent thank you. En who realised it was Eri holding his hand, tightened his hand around hers, and realised...how familiar and right it felt. Catching his eyes, she held them for a few moments, before she turned and effectively taking him with her. He knew she wanted to tell him something. And right at this moment, even though his current girlfriend was in the ballroom with a wrecked dress and a weird fussy aunt, he only wanted to follow Eri...and he did right out of the ballroom...elsewhere....
((Sorry for the long post guys!))

Kyoya glanced around and blinked, Well.... uhm... that... was... unexpected. he thought, glancing at the lady. He noticed her little gesture. So this was a part of her little plan too. Which meant she had a substantial amount of knowledge of the current situation. But she wasn't Aeliana, who he had only talked about this plan to... and he had blocked his mind and hers during the conversation, meaning no one could've heard them... And Aeliana probably only told Romano, who he could judge was not the secret telling type. Especially over Aeliana. So.. no.. it couldn't be. Well it could be... but.. it would be extremely unexpected. He glanced at Amaterasu one more time with a blank yet surprised look.
Otto pushed the woman away. "Just stop! I need to find my boyfriend. I don't trust that Eri," she wiped her eyes quickly. She ran to the bathroom, sobbing. She pulled off her dress and mask and pulled on a pair of shorts, a tank top, and converse. "I'm just going to go back to my dorm... He likes Eri more than me..." She said softly, walking back out onto the dance floor with her mask and dress in her arms. She walked somberly through the crowd, trying to get to the exit. "So much for midnight..."
Ama blinked, "well, how rude, I was only helping..." she said stepping back as Otto ran passed. She looked down, inspecting her own dress, hoping that Otto didn't leave a mark on it. She quite like this dress. Looking at Kyoya, she asked, "my my is she always like that?"
He sighed, "She'll move on" he murmured blankly. Surely if she is who I think she is then.. she could hear my thoughts He thought to himself.
