Kaito stands up on the balcony silently. He was in a black suit and black mask, his blue hair combed neatly while his blue eyes shown perfectly, really standing out behind his mask.

Desmond walked up to the balcony with his black suit red fedora and red tie and leaned over the railing and just stared into space

Kaya walked up to the balcony, she loved coming up here just to be alone sometimes but hanging out with demons up here without anyone knowing was even more fun.

Desmond looked at the person coming up but ignored really quick and looked at the lights in the room

Kaya looked around the room, not noticing Desmond at all.

Desmond removed his fedora and ran his hands through his hair and put it back on

Kaya noticed all the lights in the room. She'd never been to a Masquerade Ball before.

"It's nice to say 'Hi'" Desmond said not looking at the person

"Sorry. Hi. I didn't see you there." Kaya said, not really looking at him but actually at the lights and directing her comments to him.

Desmond walked up to her "I'm Desmond"

"The name's Kaya." She said, introducing herself.

"Nice to meet you, are you an angel or a demon" Desmond asked very concerned

"A--a----a-ngel" Kaya admitted, then added "But.........I like demons. My family doesn't like Reapers, so yea that's me. Not liking the rules, liking demons, and angels and fallen angels. My brother is a similar case."

"Well that good, my mother was an angel my father was a demon but people killed both of them" Desmond leaned on the railing again

"My parents approve of demons, secretly that is, they don't want the queen to find out. Things would be bad if she did."

"Yeah she ordered my parents dead" he just looked at Kaya with his black eyes

"I'm so sorry. Nobody ever wanted things to be like this, but they are and it's the world we grew up in. How stupid that our parents thought it would be nice to have us in this world and then we meet and......I don't even want to finish what I was going to say."

"Many bad things could go wrong but not if you hide it well" he said fixing his vest

"All I've been doing is hiding it. My parents sent me here specifically to hone my love of demons and yet also have me hide that I like it at the same time. Same reason for my brother being here."

"We don't even know each other but we're telling each other's secrets" he takes of his hat again showing his white hair. He whips it around a little then puts the hat back on

"That's fine. I tend to do that, besides, we have time to get to know each other. Also, I...............................................I've never been to a Masquerade Ball before."

"It's nice i came here when I first arrived" he examined the rooms decorations

"They are nice. Back home, things aren't as nice as here, at least I don't think they are."

"I blew my house up" he smiled at the image in his head

"That must've been fun for you."

"Yeah I killed everyone that killed my parents" he makes a fist to repress his anger

"Another of my favorite things, Fire. Fire is useful isn't it?"

"I'm a fire bender kind of guy, I control fire" he said making a fireball

"That is so kool. I can teleport, telepathy, telekinesis, and control wind. I wouldn't put fire out with the wind, it wouldn't be possible. And I hate swimming and water, ick. Too much Chlorine in swimming water."

"I have fire bending, telekinesis, teleport, night vision, and electricity bending" he made and electrical ball inns ha s the size of a soft ball

"That electric ball literally looks five times bigger than the chandelier."

"I can make it huge" he said

"It's actually really pretty when it's really large"

"Yeah" Desmond saw a his glass of water and used telekinesis to move it to him

"That is so kool, so what do you do if you don't really have parents anymore?"

"Walk around alone just have people stare at me when I'm alone. When I'm by myself I just draw" he pulls out a piece of paper from his pocket "it's a drawing of my parents, I don't miss them it's just for honor and remembrance"

"Honor must be a big thing for both of our cultures"

"Yeah" he opens the drawing

"It's pretty, did you draw it?"

"Yeah i did it last night" that my mother Sharen and my father Drake" he looks at the photo deeply then folds it up and puts it back I his pocket

"Those are pretty names. My mom is Claudia and my dad Enrique. The whole family has Spanish names, accents too. Really hard to explain how things ended up the way they are with the not liking reapers thing"

"I like your dads name, I know some Spanish" he says adjusting his tie

"Thanks oh and by the way, my little brother is Carlos. I don't mention him much because after he stopped being friends with a reaper, he and I kind of had a falling out."

"I lost a friend, he died in a car crash, burned to death"

"I.......I understand how that feels, though you must not feel much about it even if you have memories about the occasion." Kaya said as she walked around the balcony. ((sorry about dissappearing, been busy))
