The Gray Wolf Throne discussion

How did he know Fire Dancers Vale name in book 1 when they first met? He called him 'Hayden' back then even though he wasn't suppose to know him at all.
In book 3 Fire Dancer tells Han that the Bayars don't know about his existence and that he is in fact the son of Lord Bayar so I don't see a reason for Micah to know his name.

Also there is something else that has been bothering me. How could Han remove the Wolf ring on Raisas hand when Micah apparently couldn't? And even afterwards Raisa removed the ring so Han could put his spell for the Sending on her. Isn't the ring suppose to be irremovable?

I don't know about your first question. But I also was curios about Han being able to remove the ring. I have three theories. First theory Han is also from the gray wolf line so maybe he could remove it because of that connection. Second theory Han had good intent while Micah's was bad. Third Han is sworn to protect and serve the Gray wolf line.

Yeah, I think maybe Han's being from the gray wolf line might explain it. Though it's likely Chima just forgot the ring was supposed to be irremovable.

I always thought it was because Raisa knew his intentions were good so he could remove the ring.

As for Hayden, we know that he had been down in the vale before and that he had been to the temples. Maybe thats where they met.
