More snippets of thought:

Kip's legend (and his army) grows as saves a bunch of drafters from a sinking barge.

Tia and Karis finally meet in private. Karis orders Tiato wipe out the Eye.

Andross tells Karis there are multiple worlds and thousands of immortals, 200 of which may have rebelled. This is a part I'd have reread if I was reading. Very interesting, but pretty confusing.

What was that ultraviolet storm? And around Kip.

Dezin killed really killed Gavin years ago and he imagined he imprisoned him all this time, and imagined he killed him in the yellow prison.

The blood forest casters use will casting, which is considered taboo. It seems to be similar to what Kip has been doing with the cards.

I'm trying to sort this out now from the rest of the book - aaah last week was insane and I was never at a computer.

Anyway - I like that Kip's followers are growing as he just tries to do the right thing as he sees it. And I like his wife's contributions.

The immortals part is interesting and makes me wonder if it is tied in somehow with the wights and them being "gods" of the different colors.

As far as the storm -I was remembering back in a previous book that Gavin used to go out in the mornings and balance the colors and casting. Not that it isn't being done, maybe these storms are happening all over. Although that one did seem to be heading right for Kip.

I really don't know what to think about the whole Davin/Gavin thing...
