I am SO disappointed with my local library! I have had this book as a request for almost TWO months! Should I buy it?

The maths of physics...sigh. However, I have honed my equation-skipping skills while rolling my eyes to an art! But, I depend on the writing (and pictures) to enjoy science books and I have found the challenge always fun. Usually, if there are a lot of equations, I prefer to check out the book first from a library.
