Henry Holt discussion

I see that we've never actually gotten any discussion going here, so I wanted to change that with a question about a book that's been a priority to-read for me for a while. This is a topic that has fascinated me since reading Richard Rubenstein's "The Cunning of History" for an undergrad history course and I'd like to see an updated view of part of that thesis.

Has anyone here read Aly's text? What did you think? Thanks so much!
