Since the beginning of the book I can grasp the fact MT is keeping something from her friends especially when she mentioned she wasn't going to college with being an A student.My fisrt prediction was that she must be an immigrant and I was right, although I wonder why she was hiding it for so long or if she felt ashamed of it or just couldnt tell anyone.
