I have not yet read this one so looking forward to doing so, but those of Jane's books I have read have all been really enjoyable. Recommend to snag whilst you can!
A new 'child' is bornOnly 99p or free to read on KU
...for a moment the silence was blissful. Then the screaming started...
The body of a young woman is found floating in a Devon river; she has been beaten and tortured, then strangled and discarded.
Finding out who she was, and why she died, is only the beginning of an increasingly violent and disturbing trip into a world of vicious sadism and routine abuse.
Writing team Leo and Mike Johnson will be lucky to get out of this one with all their fingers and toes.

I may be a tiny bit biased having had advance sight of this book - but it is a corker. Anyone who loves crime novels with grit will really enjoy this!
I'm at it again.
Life isn't always bitter, but it isn't always sweet and it has an uncanny knack of biting your backside when you least expect it. This little collection of stories and verse is the author's response to the banana skins we all have to negotiate and to the unexpected bonuses that balance the scales

Jackdaw Court is an everyday take of greed, lust and abuse. It is now available for pre orderhttps://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B06WVDYQVL
I can highly recommend. It is gritty and challenging, but well leavened with compassion and humour too.Jane at her best!
Thought I would mention here that Jane and I have got together and written a short novella. It has been getting some good reviews and might well appeal to some folk here as it is a whodunit with a dash of romance, set in a Britain where the Romans never left...
Not one of mine but so brilliant I had to give it a mention https://workingtitleblogspot.wordpres...
