Kyler sighed at his house and looked at Nara. "Made we should have gone to your place..."

"My brother happened here. Well, when I say brother..." Kyler rubbed the back of his neck. "Home sweet home. Let's hope my parents are out of town."

"Let's go inside..." Kyler said, starting to walk along the path to his house.

"It's annoying to clean," Kyler said. "Only one gnome is willing to help us so everything is always dirty unless I help her because my parents never do."

"Nah." Kyler shook his head. "You don't have to. We just cleaned yesterday." He opened the front gates and gestured for Nara to go first.

"Up in my room. It's the least depressing part in the house because it actually looks lived in." Kyler chuckled and lead Nara up the stairs and into his messy room. He set the books he was carrying in a clear spot and kicked some of the random junk away. "Pardon the mess. I like useing my floor as a reference board. If you stand on the end of the bed you could see the patterns."

"Yeah. Most people just think they're weird paper patterns. Which they pretty much are. But they sorta hold some kind of meaning." Kyler chuckled and sat down across from Nara.

"Only if I can prove yours back." Kyler snickered and opened one of the books. "Okay. So after that..." he trailed off as he flipped to the right page. When he found it he started explaining about what happened as best he could without making her feel like she was an idiot.

Kyler laughed. "I have an idea. It's a lame and corny idea, but it might help." He stood up and set the open books on his bed, then pulled Nara to her feet. "We're going to reenact it."

"It depends on which part we're learning. We're going to reenact when they created the peace treaties right now though." Kyler flicked to that page in one of the books and skimmed it, then nodded. "Kay. You're going to play the elves and gnomes, and I'll be the dwarves and ogres and trolls and all of those people." He flipped to the page in another book and handed it to Nara for her to use it as a reference.

Kyler grinned and started playing his part from memory. Then there was the sound of the door downstairs slamming open and a shout, "Kyler dear! We're home!" Kyler cringed and face palmed. "Of course they come back home today," he grumbled. "Prepare to meet my parents."

Kyler considered that for a moment and looked over at his bed to see if Nara could fit under it. But it didn't matter because his opened the door with a big smile on her face. His dad was standing behind her with as close to a smile as he could get. "Kyler-" his mom started, then she noticed Nara and her smile growing bigger. "Oh! Who's this?"

"I'm sure." Kyler's dad chuckled and winked at his son.

"Daaaaaaad!" Kyler complained, his face flaming. "I'm her tutor," he explained.

"Oh!" His mom nodded. "That's wonderful! Well you can go back to that. We'll tell you later." She waved to Nara then left pulling the door mostly shut.

Kyler face palmed again and shook his head. "And then you see them in a lesser mood and wonder what sort of demon possessed them."

"It's alright. I don't exactly know either so..." Kyler shrugged. "Let's continue."

"Right after the dwarves left I think..." Kyler nodded. "Yeah."

Kyler read his parts when he needed to, and when they finished with that part, he quizzed Nara.

"You did really good! I think we've found our method." Kyler grinned, proud that she'd learned so fast.

Kyler chuckled. "Alright. We did a whole section so that should be good for today."

Kyler's mom came in holding a plate of pink custardbursts. "I brought snacks!" She sang.

((Yeah, it does. It just doesn't really light anything up))

"Thanks mom." Kyler forced a smile and took the plate from her. He tried to lightly push her out, but she walked in all the way and sat down beside Nara.

"What's your name sweetie?" His mom asked.

"Oh I haven't noticed," His mom assured. "So, what level are you?"

"Same level as me, mom," Kyler said.

"Oh that's good!" His mom smiled proudly at Kyler. "Well I'll leave you to it then." She smiled at Nara and left the room.

"She's in a good mood." Kyler ate one of the custardbursts, managing not to get messy. "Now just watch. My dad going to appear with an excuse of why he's up here."

"Literally nothing else. It's so boring here." Kyler shook his head. "So puzzles and studying is about it."

"Hmmm..." Kyler thought for a moment. "Um, once when I was six, I found an imp hiding under my parents' bed and I harbored it in my room until it completely trashed it and my parents found out and made me let it go." He chuckled. "I'd named it Zazz because it was really spastic."

"Uh, not really. Now how about you? What's some random thing about you that no one knows?" Kyler asked.

Kyler laughed. "How very fascinating. But, no offense, my story wins."

"Insane like.... what?" Kyler smirked and looked out his window too. "It's always so dreary out there. It's kind of depressing." He sighed and frowned, then looked at Nara and nodded slightly. "Alright. I'll take you to the leapmaster. It's the only place on the whole property that gets enough light to leap anywhere." He stoked up and put the books in the corner for later days.

Kyler looked curiously at the window, then smiled at Nara and nodded, going and opening his door the rest of the way.

((Aaawwwww! That's nice!!))

"Ah don't mention it." Kyler smiled at her. "It gives me an excuse to hang out with you." He winked. (*dies because srsly they aren't even canon and I ship them more than I ship any of the actual characters*)

"You're blushing again," Kyler told her, holding back a pleased smile. "I like it when you blush. I'm going to make you blush more often." He nodded.

"Oh I know. That's why I find it so adorable when you do blush." He nudged her and opened the door into the room with the leapmaster.

((AAAAWWWWWW))

Kyler hugged her back, then released her when he realized that he was now blushing as well. He shook the hair out of his eyes and rubbed the back of his neck. "Anytime, m'lady."

"See you at school," Kyler said, waving a little (JUST A LITTLE) to her before she leaped home.

Kyler rushed with Nara up to his room since his parents were home, but in a different room. He closed the door a little and flopped onto his bed. "Do you remember which section we were in?" He quizzed.

"Fail! Actually no. I can't even remember. Telepathy training was exhausting today." Kyler made a face and grabbed a history book. At least he thought it was a history book. He was to tired to realize that it was actually a fairy tale type book. "Oh yeah. I remember now. Okay stand up." He skimmed the page and nodded because it made perfect sense to his tired brain. "You're gonna play the princess Analine and I'm going to play the guard Linc."

Kyler shook his head to clear it and blinked a few times. "Nah I'm good... I uh... was testing you..."

Kyler pouted but complied. Sort of he stole Nara's pillow and slithered under his bed to hide with it, eyes narrowed at Nara. "I'm immune to books!" He declared.

"I stole it back fair and square!" Kyler said, pulling the pillow back further. He scoots back further as she advances.

"Noooooooooo." Kyler tried to pull the pillow back, but his grip slipped and he ended up just punching himself in the face.

Kyler sighed. "So I've been told." He chuckled and made a kissy face at her when he notice she was inspecting him.

Kyler's eyes lit up. "Yes! Imagine my face when I walked into my room that's supposed to be pitch black, and there's cute little glowing flowers on my window. I'll give you. a hint, I kind of looked like a wonderstruck child."

"That's nice of her." Kyler smiled and scooted the rest of the way out from under his bed.

"Why?" Kyler asked. "I don't wanna sleep."
