(Is here good?)Kazul felt the oddest tingling between her wings and wondered if that was the bind she now had with Aleyne.
((Yeah, perfect!))Aleyne strode into the classroom after Kazul. It was freakishly spacious, with desks large enough to hold a feast at. Soaring marble pillars lined the room, ascending up into the towering ceiling. "You want to choose a desk?" Aleyne asked, her pale dress dragging slightly against the floor as they walked. She looked over at her bond, who seeming to be caught up in her own thoughts.
"Hm? Oh yes." Kazul said and looked over the desks. She didn't know what they would he used for so she just picked one at random. It was a row away from the door and in the middle. She was happy that she had such a nice human to bond with and she hadn't even been the one to ask!
As soon as they were at the desk, Aleyne took out a few supplies, among them her notebook. She promptly flipped open to a page not covered in charcoal sketches, or intricately colored objects, and began to draw- her motions fluid, and unhesitating. A skill born from many years of practice. "Do you have any passions Kazul?" Aleyne asked, suddenly curious. Her attention didn't waver from the page, but she listened carefully for Kazul's reply.
"Passions?" Kazul repeated quizzically. "What do you mean?" She only knew one definition for the word passion but it didn't seem to apply in the context of the situation.
Anya walked in alone. She carried a leather satchel over a shoulder, her hair braided down her side, the scar on the back of her neck still pink, not yet silvered over. She hesitated, looking at Aleyne and Kazul, sitting a safe distance away, where they could choose to include her in the conversation if they so chose.
Kazul heard another human walk in and looked over to see another female. "Hello." She called to the newcomer. Every time she saw a human now she would wonder what kind of dragon they were bonded too. The realization was kind of odd.
"Hey," she said, "Suaco onureth dout altiuiri." Anya greeted properly.

"You don't have to be so formal." Kazul said, her scales now tinged a very slight pink, showing her embarrassment. She used that greeting only when meeting her elders. She wasn't used to hearing it directed at herself.
She smiled. "I chose to be. Sorry about that, I'm just used... To older dragons, I suppose," she said, liking the slight pink.
"Makes sense. I am called Kazul by the way." She said. She went down on all fours so she could see the humans more easily. It wasn't that she couldn't see them standing up, it was just easier to make out their features.
"My name's Anya," she said, smiling. She looked Kazul directly in the eyes so she knew she wasn't afraid. "It's nice to meet you."
"Likewise." Kazul said, pleased that the humans she had met thus far were actually nicer than many of the dragons she had met recently.
"Oh," Aleyne said in surprise, looking up from her drawing. She hadn't thought that they might engage her in the conversation. "Aleyne, Kazul's bond. You?" She smiled, trying to keep a friendly vibe going.
((...You're posting....FROM DA SHOWER? GREAT SCOTT, PROTECT THE PHONE FROM THE WATER! & sure, I'll post it right now.))

"Anya Kylash," she said, reaching to shake Aleyne's hand.
"Anya Kylash," she said, reaching to shake Aleyne's hand.
"It's a pleasure," Aleyne replied. She shut her book, carefully pushing it back into her bag along with the utensils. "So, we're waiting for the teacher, right?" She asked, looking around for confirmation.
"Depends on which lackey they send that they've deemed qualified to teach," she said, "Seems we'll be getting a less competent one. I hope not, but he is, what, ten minutes late? Along with the rest of the students, mind you."
Aleyne nodded, noticing for the first time the rather sparsely occupied room. "I'm sure there's more students coming," or at least she would assume so, judging by the large number of students in the school. At that moment, the door opened and a very muscular man walked in. He reached up, and ran a hand through his short hair, as though by some internal instinct from an earlier time when there had been something there. He looked around, his eyes finding Anya. His face went neutral.
"Aren't we early though?" Kazul asked, checking the time. She didn't remember what time class was supposed to start though so it wasn't of much help.
She looked up and found the boy with her eyes. They darkened, but she tried to keep looking positive. She avoided looking at him and focused more on Aleyne and Kazul. "Perhaps, they seem to leak in as time passes. And no, classes don't really seem to have a solid time."
Drake chose a seat a distance always from Anya. He slid onto the bench, and reclined a bit as he waited for a teacher to appear. "Ahh," Aleyne said in reply. "Sorry, we haven't been here that long." She explained, looking over at Kazul.
"Oh." Kazul said in response to Anya and watched as students walked in. They were mostly human with a handful of dragons who seemed to be bonded to humans already in the class.
The teacher, a stout man with a barrel chest seemed to hurricane in, papers flitting around him as if they had minds of their own. Instead of a case of notes or an arm of books, he held several finely crafted mimic swords and dragged behind him a cask on wheels, water should a student faint or grow too weary. "We'll have no flightly fiddle faddle or unseemly behavior in this class. Bonded or not, this is not a team skill, although it may be. This is combat, and should you be separated from your bond, you will be expected to know what to do."
Anya wrote on her slate in chalk, "Sir Kerad", but didn't elaborate, and quickly flashed the slate towards the new people before wiping it clean. Kerad was one to use the hard end of the training sword to beat away insubordination.

Kazul stared at the short man in confusion as she tried to understand what he meant. Fiddle faddle? Not a team skill although it may be? She gave up on trying understand what he meant and just went along with it and tried to look like she knew what he was saying.
Aleyne raised an eyebrow as the bustling man made his entrance, he appeared to be simultaneously manning three things at once. She glanced over at Anya's board, then back up at the teacher, wondering if she should reply to his stream of words. The truth was, she had no idea what to do.
"Now, would the students form a line, pushing the desks to the side immediately..." he drawled, sharp eyes piercing at the students.
Aleyne wondered if she could feign sickness and excuse herself from what now appeared to be quickly developing it to a torturer session. She got up anyway, and pushed aside her desk with Anya.
Kazul did as he asked, moving the larger 'desks' clearly meant for dragons. She figured the humans could more easily move their own desks than the large ones. Once that was done she stood in line with the others.
Anya pushed aside the desk. The teacher was obviously upset that the class wasn't larger. "Stretch out, let's see what you can do."
One girl's stretches weren't adequate enough so he pushed her into a deeper stretch, pulling her muscles. She limped away to the infirmary.

Kazul looked at the other dragons to see if they were supposed to stretch as well. She didn't want to get yelled at but what was she supposed to stretch?
Aleyne touched her toes with ease, she nearly applauded herself at that. "This class it brutal," she whispered to Anya from the corner of her mouth. Pulling up to do her arms in turn.
