How do you become a moderator?

ok. i've made Abby and madhins moderators. I think that three is all we should need unless the group gets really big.

Yeah. Thanks. I'm kind of new to this, so this is probably a dumb question. What are moderators supposed to do?

Moderators. Right right. Well, I think, they just make sure, for starters, that the different topics don't get too cluttered. Like, deleting those that don't belong. Now that we have a section for links we don't need links being posted elsewhere. And if swear words appear I would like those deleted. I know we all swear sometimes, but let's try to keep it clean.

I'm sorry, but I still don't get it. Are you saying we delete what others say if they're swearing? And if you are, how do we do that?

Yeah, at the bottom of each post there are little options. You can 'reply' or 'delete'. If you don't like a comment, you can delete it. Or I could just do that. Moderators can also make polls and different topics. Sorry if it's confusing.

Yeah, I think so. You can invite them by going to your contacts and inviting them. I think you should be able to do that, since you are a Mod.

Um... probably either Stacy or Meggie.

I was thinking, should we have like a writers topic, then have each of our members make their own page to put links to their writing, then we can make comments or help them with anything? It's just a thought.

Um...is it possible to do that?

Sure. Well, I've seen people do that in some groups. They'd create a new title for a group of topics, then you have each member make their own page on it and put links for writing, tell about themselves, things like that.
