One of our group reads at the moment is Juhani Aho's Juha. It has also been translated at least into English, German, Russian and Bulgarian. But it is probably made more famous by the movies based on the book. There are at least four of them in total, including Aki Kaurismäki's silent, black-and-white film from 1998.

Has anyone read the book or seen for example Kaurismäki's movie?
